what is the fucking point of paying 4 a game then having to update it for 5 fucking hours, why is everything against me playing the game.

the reason for the update is to fix the bugs (allegedly), introduce new weapons/vehicles/stuff, and so that everyone playing the game has the same version and can access the servers and not completely gimp each other out (apart from those who were using the speedhack of course)

five hours seems exceptional to me, as i've only had, at most about half an hour to an hour in total for the updates...

what connection are you running, if it's 56k, sony recomends a DSL or Cable connection, and if it's either of those, then it could be that the port used to download the updates has been throttled or closed by your ISP....

If you have just bought the game and had to updat for a while thats because a lot of new content has been added since release, 2 new vechicles, LLU, bug fixes, weapon tweaks.
