Favorites

Does anyone use that favorites menu when grabbing your inventory items. If so, how to set it up? Anything would be better than having to stand there and switch everything each spawn. It gets tiresome and needlessly repetitive.

Basically, just set yourself up, then go to the favorites tab. Choose a number, click on save, and make a name for that favorite. Then your done.

yep, whatever equipment you have on the time you click save will become that favorite. Without favorites, this game would very frustrating.

Yeah I do use the favorites so I can quickly get all my stuff. And I would answer your second question as well but it looks like there is no need.

BTW, I like this forum since people like answering questions and having decent threads.

Since we have run a bit afield of the original topic, does anyone keep getting those strange graphic glitches where there are these shards shooting everywhere preventing one from seeing anything? I'm running XP Pro SP1 with a ti 4200 (GeForce4 64M)

Is there something in settings either in the game or the card I can do to get past this?
It's really blowin' my high... Don't say get a better card because I am in about a week or so. Maybe a Radeon 9700 or the likes.

I do that when I know death is coming around the corner. Like when I have my total repair favorite on, can repair everything including health. So since I only have a knife to attack wtih I sometimes have to use that. I've knifed a lots of vechicles including maxes, lol but hey at least it proabably hurts them by at least 1 hp.

Nope. Knives and pistols with standard ammo do NO damage (0hp, 0 armor) to maxes or vehicles. Sorry.

Yes, I use all my favorate slots. Yes, all 10. I have Engineering combos for different armor types, fav combos for different weapon types, even fav combos for MAXes. I even have a suicide combo. It's my Reinforced Supressor combo. Good for running around doing nothing but shooting ammo all over the place.

And yeah, only AP ammo in a regular weapon seems to hurt max's and vehicles. The Beamer isn't entirely useless. It's slow as a muthafuk, not very damaging either. But as a cloaker, it's good for a piss off shot. Get's people's attention. Usually get's you murdered. But hey, at least it has it's own AP ammo. You know, they REALLy should up the damage on the Beamer.
