Best Medium Assault Gun

I know, this poll is really old, but they have changed the guns up a bunch, and the game as well so I thought i would find out what everyone likes.

I personnally favor the Pulsar, as most of the fighting is done in medium range and it makes cool noise

sweeper shotgun indoors, gauss or cycler outdoors. I traded in my Jackhammer because the sweeper is the same thing with a slower RoF and clip. not worth my 4 cert points, if you ask me.

I agree, I tried Heavy Weapon, but didn't like it. My medium assault weapons are good enough for me, that and a bolt driver

i love the pulsar i am gonna forget HA and get it when Core Combat comes out........the pulsar rules all ppl just dont know how to use it

Either way, for me its always been sweeper indoors, gauss outdoors. I concur, JH is nothing special, just a less accurate sweeper with 2x the clip and a slightly higher RoF. (For 4 certs I can practically get another advanced skill!)

I loved my Sweeper/cycler combo, but since I stared a new character I'll have to admit, for the price you pay to get the Punisher, it's the best weapon all around. Launch a plasma grenade and switch over to your rounds of ammo. Instant kill most of the time.

I see pulsar on there a lot. I've never even tried to use it. I take it that it must be petty good. I'll have to try it out soon.

I do 3rd choice, and 5th choice. 3rd has 3 votes, 5th has 2. And the both of them are spelled wrong too. guass

Gauss, though admittedly my TR character rarely uses the Cycler but as it isn't an option that doesn't matter

My favourite config is guass + JH, very balanced AI. I read that the JH also fires 2 or 4 more pellets than a sweeper, somewhere on SOE PS boards.

Guass no question about it , it owns at longer ranges and has good damage and can snipe with burst fire at 4x zoom
