People getting in your turret.

I was at a tower and there was a lot of fighting at it some both turrets were destroyed. I decide to repair and get into one. But one of the TR get in it while I'm still repairing and as a result I get killed by a Reaver. Does anyon else hate this?

This doesn't bug me really. I often sit behind a turret being manned by a friendly and repair it as he is using it. That little bit of constant repair will keep the turret going just a little bit longer allowing them to kill more.

Oh my god thats annoying!!!!.

This has happened to me a couple of times where by ive repaired a destroyed turret so i can use it, and some f*cker has jumped in it when its almost fully repaired!.

I now watch my map and if i see a green dot coming close, i switch to third person view. Anyone even looks at my turret and i stop repairing and jump in.

Im starting a campaign, however, to deter this kind of thing. Its basically, if someone steals the turret you were repairing for your self, do one of two things : a) wait for the person to get out, then summarily execute them for gross misconduct, or b) label them a traitor, then destroy the turret, re-repair it and get back in.

In all fairness though, i do sometimes in big battles where someone else is in a turret, i will sit behind it and repair it for them, to keep it operational as long as possible.

I big problem with being a engineer is that you dont get experiance point for repairing things like turrets, which means there is no big incentive to do so.

They call this incentive winning.

I know exp is the overriding factor for people starting out but it really aint that big of a deal. Get used to the support troop mentality.

This isn't Turretside. If your big goal is to man a turret, I think you have bigger issues. If someone else mans the turret, that's one less thing you have to worry about. Move on.

I love it when people try to repair turrets while I am watching. It makes it sooo easy to snipe you.

Crouching, and taking cover right behind will cover most of you.

What's the problem?
Manned Turret+Engy is twice as effective as Engy in a Turret.

C'mon people, fight for your empire, not that pretty little line of ten boxes.

Yeah, snipers are a real hazerd when im repairing turrets!, i now move all the time when im repairing, not much, but it might just keep me alive long enough....

And as for fighting for my faction, if i wanted to run around repairing turrets i never use all the time, why the hell would i be playing planetside!!!!.
By really, i do help others a lot, if i hear someone shout for repairs, i will look around to see if they are near me and repair them.
