need...help...!

Sorry for this double post, but i named my last post IE problem and it only had 8 views in 2 days! I need ppl to actually look at my problem to help me! So here it is again, can someone PLZ help me? Oh by the way, I am not computer illiterate, and know fairly much about them, so plz no "JUST REINSTALL THE DAMN THING FUCKTARD!" posts. Id also like 2 make it outta this one without having 2 repartition. Other than that ANY help is much appreciated

Dunno if this is right for a PS forum, but i figured you guys could help just as well.

In internet explorer 6, the newest version, popups dont show up...I'm not talking about spam popups, just links that open in a different page. They used 2 work but now they dont. They come up on the bottom as Microsoft Internet Explorer, but they never load. I went back to internet explorer 5.0 but it still didnt work, so its not a prob with IE. Any suggestions? Oh, I am also running popup stopper pro, but i uninstalled it and they still didnt show up so i dont think thats the problem...

Sometimes an ISP will include a "popup killer" in it's basic install. Check your privacy setting (in IE) also. If your machine starts doing things you didn't tell it to do, the first thing to do is start looking for "spyware" A good anti-spyware program is called "Spybot Search & Destroy"

Oh yeah, sorry forgot 2 mention that 2, i already have SBS&D. I love it. I dont have an isp popup stopper. Ill check the settings again, just for closure lol, but i dont think theres a problem there, everything seemed normal last time i checked. Anyway thanks for tryin, at least someone cares lol
