Idea for additional CR ability - Radar claoking/Jamming

I think an additional feature that should be added to the cud is a Radar Jammer. I know we have the EMP, but its distance is limited, and it is short lived. What I am proposing is something different.
This would be an option available to CR4+ commanders.
The CR4 would activate the jammer via his CUD. A timer would appear in the corner of his screen, I'm thinking 5 minutes. At the same time, a small tower-sized SOI would appear around the CR4, we'll call it a JSOI (jammer sphere-of-influence). This JSOI would be visible on the continental map to all friendlies. Any friendlies within the JSOI would be invisible to all forms of radar, this includes motion sensors and audio amp as well. The JSOI would move with the CR4 being at the center. The JSOI would work with vehicles and inside the base as well, but the CR4 would have to exit the vehicle to activate it. Once the 5 minute timer expires, a 20 minute reset timer begins.
With the new radar enhancements coming from the LFB's, I think this would be a most valuable addition to the game. It would force attackers to use tactics in order to advance on a base undetected. The 5 minute timer would force quick action on the part of the attackers to infiltrate the base, knock out the tubes/gen, and lay the hack on before they were seen on radar.
