Yea, I wish that SOE could put an armor bar above the name to make an engie's life easier. Also don't you love it when your a medic and you have your applicator out and people run away from you when they are at half health...I don't understand this foolishness. Maybe it's just TR on Emerald. I also love that nobody ever wants to get rezzed...lol

I've thought this since Beta. It'd also be nice if Engys and medics could repair moving people since even the people who are spamming for repairs never seem to want to hold still.

I'm just curious, why is healing other people a big deal? If they are too new to notice you (a lot of people notice me even when I have my med and engie applicators holstered), the extra hp/ap isn't going to help them much anyway. I look at it as a waist of my time, since I can venture a guess that I am a more effective soldier than the person in question is. If someone walks up to me asking for a fix, or is standing still somewhere, then they get a fix. Otherwise, forget it, it's a waist of time.

Definately agree with you on this. In the middle of a fire fight you always have a Max or two, usually, spamming about needing repairs, but have no clue where he is.
SilverLord, I have no complaints about being rezzed .. I'm just bad luck for the poor medic that tries. 9 times outta 10 I get shot just as I come back, which makes me feel bad, or he gets killed while trying. Last night a medic rezzed me and we were suddenly fell upon by a dozen NC

Dammit, you engis want EVERYTHING!
NERF ENGIS!!! J/K...this is a really good idea. I've thought about this many times...but I've given up on healing people if they are moving, so it's not biggie. I'm mainly an engy/med for myself...of course if anyone needs heal/repairing I am always happy to help! |

You know I've been thinking. With Adv medical why not make it so when you die and choose your respawn point you can be rezzed up until you actually spawn at that new point? It seems to me this might aleviate some of the frustration of being an Adv Medic.

Because the whole point of not releasing is that it's a sort of gambit that forces you to wait for a medic (that may never come). This time is spent doing nothing, not even respawning, that's why it's there in the first place. If a medic comes, you save time, but if no one does come, then you've waisted time and every second you wait extra is a second you could be on the battlefield fighting.

The only people I see that accually ever want repairs are MAXes...lol. This is of course good but I see too many infantry not wanting repairs/health and run from me or the people respawning with my med applicater out and on top of em ready to rez them...
