Ok after my first failed weak attempt at writting a story I'm back at it, this one should be better (considering I'll actually update it).
Chapter 1: Sleeping Tiger His limp body floated in the tube full of water in the basement of Bio Laboratory Tootega, tubes running from his scarred body connecting him to the Labs medical interface. He had no idea how long it had been since the New Conglomerate strike was repressed; as a matter of fact he didnt know much. He had been severely hurt in battle against the NC strike force and his brain had suffered severe overload. He had arrived at the Bio Laboratory near the point of death, he wasnt breathing, it was doubtful he would remember anything, and worse off the NTUs used to power his implants were leaking into his blood stream. He went through hours of surgery, just to establish clear genetic DNA that could be used to build a basic mind map. Four more hours of genetic programming followed, all in an attempt to re-teach him the basic human abilities. He was only able to stay conscious for a short time before his lungs gave out again. Normally at this point he would be respawned and the entire incident would be forgotten, but this was different, it would be the real death for him if he didnt survive. The NTUs in his blood would slowly degrade his genetic material to the point where in three short weeks he would no longer be Caduceus, he would just be there. The doctors had come through in the operation, but at a serious cost. Many of his natural organs had to be replaced with robotic copies, his heart, his lungs, and the left hemisphere of his brain even. Caduceus was no longer a normal human, he was a cyborg, powered by the very NTUs the couldve been his death, driven for the most part by programming, programming and the unrelenting force of nature called Vengeance. Chapter 2: The Meeting Caduceus was kept in the containment tube for three days before his doctors brought him out of the restorative sleep. On the morning of the third day he was jolted to life by the feeling of a strong electrical current pulsing though his body and by the sound of water draining from the tube. Two men in lab coats disconnected him from the Laboratorys interface and opened the grasps holding him up, he stumbled forward but managed to gain his balance. Colonel Caduceus? asked a man standing on the other side of the room. Maybe he replied. A simple yes or no Sir. Yes, why? I dont know Sir, your security clearance is higher then mine. All I know is that you must report to the base commander immediately. Wheres my armor In your locker Sir. He looked around the room, a bit disoriented. My locker? Number 3205, upstairs, heres your key. Uh Thanks. He grabbed his head, he had a terrible headache. He could only remember bits and pieces of what had happened. He remembered the war, the wormhole, Earth, the Terran Republic, the Vanu technology. It was the smaller details he couldnt remember, his locker, his rank, and his name He wandered through the basement of the base searching for the Commanders office. Crap, I should know where this place is. Damn Conglomerate pigs He searched for five more minutes before he found the office, two guards stood at the door and one opened the door as he approached. Colonel Caduceus, the Commander will see you now, said one of the guards when he reached the door. Uhalright. He walked into the Commanders dark office, it was different then the rest of the base. It was dimly lit and the walls were wood paneled. Two leather chairs sat in front of an oak desk and an even larger leather chair sat behind it. The large chair was currently facing a screen on the wall that displayed a map of the continent of Esamir. A voice spoke from the chair Sit down Colonel. He inched toward on of the chairs and sat down as the Commander turned his chair around. Colonel Caduceus, you have been called back to duty by the Terran Republic, and are to report to the Bastard Battalion compound in our sanctuary ASAP. Yes, Sir. Transport is waiting at the Southeast gate. Yes, Sir Something wrong? Uh No Sir, I just uh. Whats the Bastard Battalion? Why do they think youre qualified for this mission? The Bastard Battalion is your outfit. I ok Sir. Dismissed Yes, Sir. He got out of the chair and walked out of the office. Bastard Battalion? He couldnt remember any of it, and what was this mission that the Commander referred to? They couldnt be giving him a job already. He found his way to the bases southeastern gate where a galaxy transport was waiting for him. Caduceus! Long time no see! said the man leaning against the Galaxy. IIm sorry but I uh I dont remember He couldve shot himself for using the same excuse over and over. Fingerbob said alright then, Im Colonel Zool, Bastard Battalion Air Division. Isorry, doesnt ring any bells Right well lets get going then, Fingerbob wont be back to HQ for a while, hes leading a campaign on Esamir at the moment, shouldnt be back for a while. They have orders not to let the Vanu Sovereignty take the Gjaller Technology Plant. Alright, should give me some time to train, he said as he opened the canopy to the galaxys cockpit and hoped into the back seat. Training? You really have forgotten a lot. The Galaxy shuddered as it took off and blasted for the Terran Republics Sanctuary Warpgate. Chapter 3: The Tiger Awakens Caduceus stood in the center of the dark holo-room, a single light shining down on him from above. Computer. Begin Custom Training Simulation. Voice Recognized as Colonel Caduceus. Fight the Good Fight Colonel! Beginning Simulation in 54321 The room changed into the landscape of Ceryshen, the Terran Republic was fighting against the New Conglomerate on the bridge and cliffs between the Dropship Center Anguta and the Bio Laboratory Sedna. As it stood the Terrans were pounding the New Conglomerate fortifications on the Sedna cliffs with an artillery barrage from their Prowler tank divisions. The NC was quick to respond however, eliminating many tanks with their Phoenix missiles and Reaver assaults. Suddenly the Prowlers stopped firing and the Terran infantry commanders gave the order to charge the New Conglomerate. Caduceus fell into the ranks of soldiers charging across the bridge and firing at the NC dog soldiers. The attack was met by Jackhammer fire, the air filled with the sound of shotgun cartridges discharging. Terran after Terran fell to the ground dead, but not Caduceus. He snuck quickly and quietly across one of the girders under the bridge arming mines and rigging them onto the steel supports. He jumped from the girder to the cliff side and pulled himself up, laying a hail of bullets on the enemy with his Cycler and then chucking plasma grenades into the enemy bunkers. Screams erupted across the battlefield as the green flame spread from NC soldier to NC soldier. His Cycler beeped twice signaling to Caduceus that it was out of ammo, there was no time to reload. He ducked behind a tree and fired his repeater around at the NC, all blind shots, but dangerous enough to kill with even a glance. He charged at another NC bunker firing his Mini-Chaingun into it, he jumped behind a rock as he ran out of ammo and reloaded. He approached the backdoor of the bunker quietly, the NC didnt know he was there; hed already be dead if they did. He charged in and let loose on the enemy soldiers, one after another fell before the spray of his Chaingun. He ran down the steps into the tunnel that connects the two bunkers and caught a glimpse of an NC soldier fleeing from him. He threw his Chaingun to the ground and pulled out his two knifes, he leapt forward at the fleeing enemy and knocked him on his back. Think youll run from me, eh? He switched both blades into chain mode and stabbed viciously into the enemy, holographic blood sprayed everywhere but he did not relent. The image faded away as it died and he stood up, turning off his knifes. COMPUTER! DEACTIVATE HOLO-TRAINING! a voice shouted from the corner of the room. As the room faded back into the normal metallic walls a man stepped out of the corner. HAHAHA so The Tiger Awakens still havent lost your touch have you Cad? Who? I are you Fingerbob? Caduceus asked. Hmm good guess, it is as bad as they said I You mean my incident Yes Go get your armor cleaned up and meet me in my office in half an hour. I have to brief you on the current situation. Yes sir Heh Sir? Since when do you respect authority fig- He paused and listened to his comm.. Hmm my office, half an hour! Finger stormed out of the room and left Caduceus to himself. Brief me on the current situation? I dont think things went to well on Esamir. He walked to the door, flicked the lights off and left the holo-room for his bunkroom. More to come... too late here to continue writing.

An update as promised, they may not come as quickly as I would like, School comes first... sadly...
Chapter 4: The Prey Caduceus sat in Fingerbobs office waiting for his leader to arrive. The office was much like that of the Commanders at Tootega, large leather chair, oak desk, all the things the brass get. A large screen on the left wall displayed a map of Auraxis and, if the red spots were Terran strongholds, things werent going very well. Ceryshen, Ishunder, Esamir, and Oshur all belonged to the Vanu. The New Conglomerate had locked down Solsar, Cyssor, and Hossin and were fighting for Amerish, leaving the Terrans with Forseral completely locked and Searhus being overrun by Vanu raiders. Fingerbob stormed into the room yelling at two lieutenants about re-securing Ceryshen. He sat down in his large leather chair and looked at the map. As you can see, were losing. I hate to admit it but we are losing. We just dont know how the Vanu are doing it audio/video feeds from Ishunder are sketchy and the few parts weve all seem to talk about Vanu uber weapons that nobody has ever even dreamt of before. Uh, uber weapons? Caduceus replied a bit confused, The weapon is only as good as its bearer, no single weapon is uber. We managed to obtain a small bit of video footage of one of these weapons, its like nothing Ive ever seen. Caduceus looked at the screen that previously had shown the map. A battle recording was playing. Though the picture was rather unclear, he was able to make out what appeared to be a tank, no not a tank, it was ARTILLERY!? The massive artillery piece hovered just above the ground, with two long pieces running down its sides and a bright green glow coming from the front of it. And, as if just artillery wasnt enough, tow hover cycles sped by just as the footage ended. How? How did we not know they were developing this? Caduceus asked, rather stunned. Thats the problem. Intel reports certain anomalies in the vehicle armor that weve never seen before. We dont believe that its Vanu Sovereignty technology, wed see it on their existing tanks; Intel believes that it is pure Ancient Vanu technology. Do we know where they are getting it? Caduceus asked. We have a hunch that needs to be confirmed. Recently the Vanu have been concentrated around Searhus, in the crater mostly. We believe there is something in there, something they dont want us to know about, as of yet our attacks have been unable to penetrate into the continent as far as the crater and due to the strange interference that exists above the crater our satellites havent been able to get any orbital shots. Wait a second, I think I am beginning to understand my mission. You want me to sneak into the crater, and access the computer at one of the bases for information, Caduceus stated blatantly as he stood up. Thats not even the half of it. After finding the information get to high ground and use your CUD to uplink it to us, more orders will follow that. Youre the most qualified for this mission, Good Luck. Caduceus took a deep breath, How am I getting there? Fingerbob stood up and spoke, Zool will take you to the Searhus warpgate on Forseral. I suggest you bring a small, fast vehicle for this mission; youre going to be a Ninja, not a Samurai. Right. Be expecting my uplink signal, Caduceus said as he turned and headed for the door. He looked back over his shoulder, Hey Finger, Five Hours. He closed the door behind him and left for the armory. Chapter 5: The Hunt Caduceus checked his equipment one last time before dropping out of the Galaxys vehicle bay. He was wearing agile armor; it didnt limit his pack size as an Infiltration suit would, nor did it slow his running speed as Reinforced armor would. His load out was simple but deadly; he carried his two custom Chainblades, a Suppressor, an AMP, and a REK ready to go in case he needed to use them. In his pack he held a few Plasma and Jammer grenades, and his CUD along with his basic weapons ammo. Everything was in order Alright Zool, equipment is green, ready to drop on your mark! Roger that Cad. Drop in 321Mark! Caduceus Basilisk dropped out of the vehicle and fell to the dew covered grass below; the warpgate to Searhus was just ahead of him. He drove into the warpgates central field and braced himself for what was to come. He felt something tugging at his stomach as he was pulled away from Forseral and sent through the winding warp tunnel to Searhus. About ten seconds later he was shot out of the tunnel and the basilisk landed gently on the Searhus grass. Ok Zool, Im on. Ill call you when I need my pickup, Caduceus whispered said into his comm. link. Roger that Cad, prepare for Radio blackout in 5 seconds. His Radio beeped twice and he knew that now he was alone. The Terran forces had since left Searhus for Ceryshen, and he was now alone on a Vanu infested continent. He checked his map, set a waypoint for a small back road into the crater he had discovered earlier and set off into the Auraxis night. He was driving for almost an hour before he reached the road he had observed in battle photos of the continent. It wasnt as smooth as the other roads were, but it would work. About 5 miles down this road and he would meet the cliffs that overlooked the Oro Interlink facility. It was almost straight down and he would have to proceed on foot from there, but he was confident that he would be ok. He ducked behind a rock at the edge of the cliff and pulled out his night vision goggles to scan the perimeter. Patrols were up along the walls, consisting of AV Comet Maxes, heavy assault guards, and what looked like snipers. This wont be as easy as I ha- He held his headphones closer to his ears; a guard was headed his way, no two. Crap what am I gonna do? He stood up and pulled out his knifes, he kept them off, so as not to alert the enemy too early and charged forward. He was half way to the Vanu guards when he activated the blades and jumped at the enemy. He jumped straight between them with his arms extended, burying a knife in each guards neck. He went to work on both suits of armor, first he carved the after-life microchip out of each suits back, disabling the wears ability to respawn. Then he tore the armor of one of the enemies, it was reinforced armor but it wouldnt matter anyway, his plan had just changed. He took off his own armor and suited up as a Vanu soldier: he equipped the Vanu weapons (an AMP, a Lasher, and a Pulsar), gathered up his CUD and REK, and, after searching the other Vanu, used a nano-dispenser to repair his stolen armor. He connected his CUD to the Vanu armor and uploaded his personal information, the built in computers would now refer to him as Colonel Caduceus and offer tactical advice to fit his current situation. After making sure everything was ok, he set off to the Interlink Facility. He slid down the ledges of the cliff to the bottom and landed on the obsidian/igneous rock surface. He was in close proximity to the backdoor of the facility and under the circumstances he decided that the most indirect approach was best. It took him a while to get used to the Vanu power armor, but he soon discovered that it was much better then the Terran Republic issued armor, perhaps he could have it refitted back at HQ. He crept through silent hallways and empty storerooms in search of the mainframe, no luck, it was nowhere to be found. Computer, access Interlink Facility Oros schematics, Caduceus said into his power suit microphone. Accessing Files Access Granted. He observed the schematics that appeared on his view screen, no wonder he wasnt able to find the mainframe; the only access route was through an air duct in the generator room. Great, air vents, my favorite pastime, duct crawling. He arrived at the generator room and swiped his access pass. Access is denied to non-maintenance personal, his computer stated sharply. Damn just have to do it the hard way. He equipped his REK and hacked the door lock no alarms went off yet. Caduceus looked around the small room for the air duct, it was small, but he was able to fit through. He crawled slowly through the cramped duct into another small room, in the center of the room was a group of large system servers, and to the left was the mainframe control terminal. He attached his CUD to the mainframe control and ran another wire into his armor; he would have to do a manual override on the safeties, the mainframes were shielded from REK hacking technology. Computer access archives, look for any information regarding newly discovered Ancient Vanu technology, or anything regarding top secret projects in the Searhus crater, Caduceus shouted into the computer control microphone. He was excited that his mission had been so relatively productive. Searching Files Found Accessing. Caduceus looked at all of the information as it was downloaded to his CUD. It documented the discovery of Geowarps, the first exploration into the caverns, the known locations of other Caverns, it was enough information to win the Vanu Sovereignty to win the war He became so enthralled in the information that he didnt realize the base alarm had started to go off, he didnt realize until his power suit shouted into his ear. WARNING UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS OF TOP SECRET FILES DETECTED IN MAINFRAME ROOM! ALL FORCES MOVE TO RESPOND! Crap..."

ok finally got another chapter, aint much but its something. Working on 7 and 8 now.
Chapter 6: Setbacks Caduceus cut his link to the mainframe and pulled out his lasher. Damn it, nothing is ever that easy, He scolded himself, How could you think it would be that easy? He emptied a clip of lasher ammo into the mainframe and ducked behind the control consol as the huge computer exploded. Alert messages flashed across his HUD as the bases lights began to fade. Warning, Colonel! Destruction of this bases mainframe computer has destabilized generator containment. Main power is failing at an accelerated pace, CLEAR GENERATOR ROOM IMMEADIATLY!, His computer blared as he peeked above the mainframe console. The lights flashed and faded out and he heard an explosion come from on the other side of the wall somewhere. He backed into a corner and activated his night vision goggles, the only easy way out of the room was the way he came in and it wouldnt be to easy now that the entire base was on alert. He browsed through the base schematics over and over looking for a door or a hatch he might have missed, there was nothing. What am I gonna do? Colonel, if I may make a tactical suggestion; by linking your lasher to the power pack on your suit you may be able to melt through a thinner part of the wall, his suits computer suggested. But that will drain my suits power too fast, and I wont be able to reverse it once I change the conn- He paused upon hearing the sound of metal clanking and the generator reactivating. Colonel, base secondary power is now online, integrated weapons systems are down however. Good, He said as he pulled out his lasher and chipped off the flow regulator instead of firing the plasma orbs now the lasher would fire just a continues flow of superheated matter. He felt down his left side and found a small seam in the armor, he pulled it open and located the plasma tube that powered the body suits computers. Computer, switch to full human control The suit beeped twice in his ear and the HUD faded out. He ripped the plasma cord out of the suit and attached it into the back of the gun. He stepped toward the wall and fired the liquid slowly across the wall. It was working the wall was beginning to melt he heard a beep in his ear and let go of the trigger. Cad<static>eusbreak radio sil<static>! It was Zool Zool! I ran into a problem, Im melting my way out of this damned mainframe room. Cad my board lit up like a friggen Christmas Tree, what <static> He paused and held his headset closer to his ear Zool, Zool! ZO-! He tensed up and turned around, three Vanu guards were standing there, their weapons trained on him. Drop your weapons Terran pig! Caduceus set his weapons on the ground and looked back up at his capturers. One reached for his CUD and smacked him in the face with the butt of his rifle. He collapsed onto the floor but two more Vanu soldiers picked him up and held him from under his arms. The three that were standing in front of him stepped aside and revealed a person that had to be high ranking. The commanders purple and gray uniform was covered in medals and awards, and he carried nothing but a beamer in defense. The commander took Caduceus CUD from the soldier and dropped it to the ground, shooting it three times with his beamer. We cant have any information leaks now can we? The commander asked Caduceus mockingly. You bring disgrace to the Vanu uniform, tyrant! A soldier said as he ripped Caduceus helmet off. He screamed in pain as the night vision goggles implanted in the helmet went off and blinded him. Take him to a cell, he may still be of use to us! The commander barked at one of the soldiers, And make ready an interrogation chamber, we are going to put him through as much pain as possible before he dies. The soldiers drug him away from the scene, through an opening in the walls armor plating, they drug him for god knows how long. He didnt realize they had stopped dragging him along the base corridors until he heard a large door slam and lock. He felt a stone cold floor beneath him and the room was filled with a loud humming noise Wh where am I? Them barneys caught themselves a new prize, eh? he heard come from out of a corner. Huh? I Are you a prisoner too? Uh huh and I reckon youre the cause of this here bases recent troubles. I are you Terran? Wha Terran? Hell no? God damn those tyrant bastards theyre the reason Im here, Im a freedom fighter. God help me, Caduceus muttered under his breath as he began to cough he coughed up blood. Blood? BLOOD! He recalled his time spent in the infirmary at Tootega, the doctor said that coughing up blood indicates that there is a breach in his false lungs, That the NTUs that entered his blood stream would reactivate on contact with the electronic of the lungs. He tried not to think about it. Wha What will they do He began coughing again, in large fits. He fell over; the last thing he saw was a puddle of his blood.

Chapter 7: Caged Tiger
He blinked and looked away from the bright light that was shinning above him. He was fastened to a soft bed and the New Conglomerate soldier he had met in his cell was on the bed next to him. Caduceus laid staring at the soldier, he recognized him, but couldnt remember from where. He looked around the room he was in; he was in the barracks of a base, a cold base. Whe where am I, he asked himself out loud. Your in the Tech. Plant Eisa on Esamir, said a man in the corner. Who why I do not need to tell you who I am yet. But I suppose I can tell you why we are here. Shortly after you were found unconscious in your cell the Terrans launched an attack on Searhus. We were evacuated as a matter of safety, we sure as hell cant let you get taken back by them; your to be but to the scaffold by the Chancellor, said his Vanu captor. Which explains why you people took the time to heal me Heh we tried to heal you. Your one scary son of a bitch on the inside, why so many false organs, came from another Vanu. Caduceus sighed and rested his head back. He looked back at the New Conglomerate soldier YOU! Caduceus shouted waking the soldier. Huh? What? asked the soldier as he woke. YOURE THE REASON FOR MY PAIN! What? It was the soldier Caduceus had been fighting on the bridge at Sedna. The soldier just looked back at him. You Youre the one that I was fighting at Sedna, said the soldier, You nearly won too, but of course Caduceus tried to pull himself off the bed but he didnt have the strength. He fell back to the rather hard bed. HAHAHAHA well doc it looks like we got two archrivals here, said the Vanu Soldier happily, Guards put them in a cell together. Caduceus hobbled back and fourth across the cold floor of the cell, he was mad at himself. Stupid I let myself get captured, now Im going to be executed, he said under his breath. Whats even worse is that Im stuck here with you, he continued looking at the New Conglomerate soldier. If its any consolation Im to be killed as well. Thats not a consolation, thats disgrace, not only do I die but I die next to my sworn enemy, I swore to myself that I would die alone. HEHEHAHAHA, stupid Terran, its your fault for not accepting that your not good enough, mocked the New Conglomerate soldier. Suddenly the door burst open and four guards walked in, behind them was a man in a long gray cape wearing a purple military uniform with tons of medals on it. He stepped forward and spoke, I am Chancellor Xing Lee of the Vanu Sovereignty, your execution shall take place in 7 hours, in 5 hours you will be given your final meal. You are to be in your full military dress uniforms assigned to you, you will be brought to the scaffold in 6 hours. At which point the execution will commence after my speech to the people of the Sovereignty. Well gee you sound important, Caduceus said to chancellor. A guard smacked Caduceus with the butt of his pulsar and shouted, You will not speak to the Chancellor pig! Dont hurt him, thats my job. It was the commander he had spoken with earlier. Sorry Sir said the guard. They walked out of the cell and locked it behind them. Caduceus sat down and tried to sleep but to no avail. AHHHHHH! I hate this waiting! Just kill me now you stupid pigs! He shouted at wall. His cellmate stood up and laughed I do love seeing you suffer tyrant now you know the suffering of the entire galaxy. Shut up pig!!! Caduceus shouted at him Or what? Youll yell at me? Caduceus had already pinned the NC soldier up against the wall when he realized what was happening. I relentlessly punched at his foes face, splashing blood all over the floor. NO PIG! ILL KILL YOU! Caduceus didnt notice the door open not until a Vanu Soldier had shot him. Chapter 8: I die alone He shuddered in pain as he woke up fixed to a wall. He looked around the room he was in it didnt look much different then the cell, except for the two advanced medical terminals on the wall. His cellmate was in one; he was bound to the wall across from the other. A mirror ran the length of one of the walls it wasnt a real mirror he was being watched Suddenly the door opened and two Vanu walked in. They released his bindings and threw a suit at him a formal Terran Marine uniform; they did the same to the NC soldier, giving him an old Libertys Call uniform instead. Both of you! Get dressed now! Your execution has been pushed up, you go to the scaffold in 20 minutes, said one of the soldiers as the walked out of the room and locked the door. Hmmm at least theyre granting my final wish, Caduceus said as he removed his ravaged armor. And that is I get to die sooner then expected And Im getting my final wish to see you go down in disgrace by being executed with a Traitor to the Republic. You win some you lose some Caduceus whispered under his breath as he pulled up the dress uniforms pants. 20 Minutes later The two prisoners were marched into the courtyard of Eisa side-by-side, flanked by six Vanu guards. Both of the base gates had large purple shields blocking the entrances and there was a rather large group of people gathered in front of a stage on the far side of the courtyard. The Vanu Chancellor stood the giving a speech, the crowd of people cheering at certain points. Members of the Vanu Honor guard surrounded him; their teal armor shimmering in the sunlight. And so, today, we execute two prisoners that refuse to join the greater good, two technophobes that refuse to see how mighty our great technology is, two fools that dare deny the will of the Vanu aliens, said the chancellor as the prisoners were filed onto the stage and their hands were bound to a bar running above their heads. One of the guards asked Caduceus if he had any last words and he nodded his head. I regret that I have to die here, now, but I do not fear for I surely have reserved my place in Valhalla, he said as the crowed booed him. His fellow prisoner made some weak speech about the freedom of man, but was cut off by the Chancellor. It was at that point that Caduceus noticed something in the hills a small light, as if light reflecting off the lens of a set of binoculars or a sniper rifle He tensed up as two elite soldiers crouched down at the front of the stage, each one pulled out a sniper rifle and each one loaded a single shot. He closed his eyes and waited for the bang of the rifle he waited and waited and waited and finally :bam::bam::bam:. He opened his eyes to find his hands released from their binding and the two elite soldiers lying on their stomachs dead. People were scurrying everywhere, Vanu soldiers were firing on the hills, the Chancellor was being hustled away by his guards and another two soldiers were approaching Caduceus. He took a deep breath and sprung into action He kicked one Vanu soldier in the face and grabbed the dazed warriors knife. In two swift strokes both Vanu soldiers were dead, he picked the knife of the other soldier as well and walked to the NC soldier. The New Conglomerate soldier just hung there, laughing like a crazed madman. HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA SO RIDICULOUS THAT THEYD WASTE THEIR TIME ON YOU! Is it now? Caduceus asked as he changed the mode on both blades, Maybe it is But you know what, now I can die in battle with honor. HAHAHAHA HONOR!? One more thing I die alone He stabbed the New Conglomerate soldier, once, twice, three times, he made sure that the traitor felt the pain he had felt at the Sedna Bridge. The soldier shuddered and finally died, drenched in his own blood and the blood of two Vanu soldiers.

And finally... THE END!
Chapter 9: The New War Caduceus dashed across the base courtyard, dodging lasher orbs and lancer bolts as he ran. He looted a lasher off of a Vanu corpse and began firing on the Sovereigntys sniper line. He noticed two of the Vanu hover buggies pull up in front of the gate and begin firing on the hills. A wave of terran soldiers flooded over the hill followed by at least 25 Prowlers and three of the new Galaxy gunships. Flashes of laser fire filled the early evening sky and large bolts rained down on the courtyard. The Courtyard was still teeming with Vanu soldiers when he heard the roar of the gunships overhead. Suddenly Vanu soldiers began falling left and right as snipers on the open-bay gunships began unleashing hell on the base He ran toward the closest of the three gunships and hopped on. A Terran sniper that had stopped firing greeted him. Sir, he said while he saluted, We have been ordered by high command to evacuate you for debriefing, from what I fear you really helped us with something big. Good get us out of here now! He grabbed onto the handle overhead with his left hand and began firing on the courtyard with the lasher in his right. Suddenly the gunship beside his exploded, sending shrapnel through the sky. He tried to shield himself, but the explosion was too big his gunship began to roll and he was thrown off of his feet as a wave metal hit him. He awoke in his dorm at the Bastard Battalions fortress in the sanctuary. His left shoulder was bandaged and his face hurt but he seemed ok. He stood up and walked slowly over to the Holo-Comm. on the wall, he asked his data file and pulled up his message screen; he was to report to the COs office in 15 minutes. He slowly walked down the hallway and saluted the guards, one opened the door and he walked into the office. Fingerbob was standing up behind the desk and in the chair sat Dogmeat. Dog? When did you get back? Youve missed a lot in the past week, Caduceus. I see Ill find away to catch up. But I do have one question for you, what did I accomplish? Dogmeat motioned toward one of the chairs and Caduceus sat down. Cad it appears that we were wrong to send you to Searhus. The cavern that the Vanu were extracting their equipment from was on Oshur, but we were able to obtain the important information from Oro anyhow. You are being credited for saving the Republic from the Vanu onslaught of Ancient Tech weaponry. Fingerbob stepped forward and Caduceus stood up to greet him. Finger here has been promoted and is now our outfit liaison with High Command, Finger Welcome back Cad being the liaison with High Command it was my job to promote our soldiers now. And so I confer on you the rank of General, and you are hereby awarded the St. Georges Cross of Valor. Thank you but I did nothing, you should be promoting the men that saved me. HAHAHAHA youre not known for being modest. Anyway, they are being promoted as well so dont worry. Dismissed! Thank You Caduceus said as he turned to the door. FOR THE REPUBLIC! Exclaimed Dogmeat as Caduceus left the room and began walking back to his dorm. Sitting on the table next to his bed was a wooden box with the words FOR VENGEANCE inscribed on it. He popped open the lock on the case and inside laid two Vanu Forceblades, his two Forceblades. He sat on the bed and took them out of the case My Vengeance Please post any comments and/or reactions.
