There is another visual que.
First.... if it doesn't have the blue stuff around it, it isn't powered. Second there is a ring along the mid section. If it is apart the base will not be powered. Repair it and when the gen goes online, the ring connects. Sometimes, however, it won't be powered but the visual ques show that it is working. This happens when the Gen has been repairing it's self for a while. But the base still won't be powered. Another thing is that if don't blow the Gen completely but get it very close, the map will show the gen symbol, but the Gen won't be destroyed. Strange things, but they don't bother me much.

Any sort of massive damage weapon will work. They have almost as much armor as a Tank and the same weapons can't work on the gen as a tank.
4 Decimators or ten boomers do it for me.

the GEN is easy to tell is it is destoryed buy the spawn tubes it that i want to know about.
so far i have not been able to tell is a spawn tube is down just by look at it??? is there a light, smoke, sparks like on a termnal that lets you know the it is broken just by looking at it? |

Spawn tubes used to have an animation for when they blew up. It's been gone since a few patches back. Grab a Decimator and put all 3 rounds into a tube and it will be destroyed. This is the fastest way to take them out.
When destroying the generator completely, don't be standing in the same room when it goes off. It has a very strong explosion. |
