These MAXes, NC and VS alike, require NO skill, point, lock, shoot.
The aircraft is on the ground in seconds, one clip, don't give me that crap about the Striker being point and shoot, it does not have the capability to take a Reaver down in one clip, and a Mosquito in half. The NC, lock, fire, they'll chase you clear across the continent, the VS, fire all shots, lock, you're dead before you can hit the afterburners. I understand that they are supposed to be the best at this role, but they shouldn't be able to do it so effort-less. If you're one of these people that gets in this MAX suits and sweeps the skies effortlessly, then don't bother flaming me. But its ridiculous, there are at least 4 AA MAXes on every base roof, with all of them firing simultaneously, you have no chance. |

That's the only reason I didn't like being a reaver pilot. All of those AA MAXs on the roof of the base get very annoying.
I also agree with you about the striker. When you fire, it does lock on but by the time you reload the vehicle ran away

Thats why you need to know the tricks. Get very far away and zoom in and see where the max is. Circle around and make a strafing position. Get going full speed, then after burn and shoot about 8 missiles and it should be dead. If there are multiple...Don't even try.

The main mistake reaver or mosquito pilots make is staying still or slow. If they keep moving most AA MAXs will have a hard time bringing them down. Also, don't attack from a direction or height you will be expected to attack from.
I'm extremely deadly with my Starfire MAX and these are my suggestions based on what has given me problems in the past. |

To paraphase his point: OMG, why is there a unit in the game that can counter my aircraft that has more armor, firepower, and speed than a lightning tank? I need to be godlike vehicle so that I don't have to think or be skilled to be good at the game!
I vary rarely say this(if I have ever before), but STFU you dumbass newbie.

AA max's are a joke against ground troops or vehicles. They are only good at one thing and once you are in an AA max you cant really do much else except fight planes.

Locking on to still targets take alot of time because they aren't very easy for the missile to target because the engine heat isnt very high im an nc with sparrow and the hard thing is when they fly low because of trees and base walls moving targets just aren't much of a problem for me
