Wouldent it be cool...


If the single pilot fighters (reaver, skeeter) could have 2 modes of flyin?

One would be if your more skilled, you can roll, actually flip around going straight up and not hold the same position, basically better for people who are very good with their fighters.

The other would be same as it is now, EXCEPT you can h old a button to go into secondary mode for a short period of time (until you release it).

What ya'll think?

Just make it so you have the options for the Reaver/Masquito to be able to handle like a real plane

That would be cool but i think it'd be hard for the dev's to implement something like that. Switching between 2 flight engines in real time would be really laggy

Yeah..it is to hard, the devs would make it a $50 expansion pack, I should delete this thread before they look at it!

Would it be cool? Yes.


Would it be hard for the Devs to implemenet? No.


Would it be good for Planetside? No.


Giving air craft such freedom of movement would be too unbalanced. Dive bombing Reavers and air craft attacking at angles that most can't defend back. Hell, infantry can't even shoot straight up.

Personally i don't see how implementing multiple flight systems/engines into a game and being able to switch between them in real time would be anything but hard to implement. Impossible? No, Hard? Yes.
