I posted some more about this and am looking for some opinions i have the money for a Radeon 9600 Pro (http://www.allstarshop.com/shop/simp...7427&ad=pwatch). I could save for 3 weeks and have enough for the Ati Radeon 9600 ProXT. Whats the diffrence between the 2 cards?

WAit for the XT and you can get one from Asus that company is one of the best by way of suport and good products.
The XT has also been rumored to out preform the 9700 It also is suposted to have better cooling and produce less heat anyway to so you can overclock it better. If the THG reviews on the 9800XT reflect the 9600XT 30$ wil get you a 10 fps increase witch is very good for 30$

Ive read that it will ship Oct. 29th , ill keep checking around and post if i find a solid ship date
Update: I found a quote from a press release that says some time in october. "The RADEON 9600 XT, the worlds first visual processor developed using a low k dielectric process, features four pixel pipes and 128MB of graphics memory and delivers unbeatable performance for under $200. Recent reviews have shown the RADEON 9600 XT to outperform cards twice its price in todays shader-intensive DirectX 9 games. Gamers will enjoy the stunning visual quality that the RADEON 9600 XT delivers, which renders in full precision at all times. The card will also be available in stores and online in October from ATI and its board partners." Last edited by Biohazzard56; 2003-10-05 at 08:56 PM. |
