The VS were on Ishundar and locked it. Then moved into hossin. At first the NC were sleeping at their posts. We took about half the continent before they start to fight back. Eventually it was down to 3 bases, Naum, Mulac, and Zotz. By this time the continent had locked and the VS had a zerg going, we were outnumbering the NC and moved to Naum. It was a stalemate there and we had more troops. Since we didnt use tactics we didn't advance. We lost the tower in the south. Then were fighting in the North tower. There was a great swamp battle. And we had a tough time getting to the doors of Naum. Once you got halfway into the swamp a vanguard or AMS would run you over. Eventually we got pushed back and defended the tower, then lost it after a heated battle. We came back and started hitting Naum with full force and got a hack. The NC had played a good card. They pulled their forces back and attacked Bitol with ful force. By then it was over. Not enough VS pulled back to Bitol and we eventually lost it. Once they took Bitol it was a matter of time before we lost our bases. They hacked half the continent and zerged Voltan, it was over for the VS. The fights were very fun. A 4 hour stalemate when no base was hacked. It was amazing that the VS zerg couldnt push on because once we got into the swamps they would mow us down like Vietcong. The VS played without tactics and we lost. Our cr5s weren't helping much at all. After we lost Bitol the whole continent operation was over. Good job NC on defeating us this day. Partly it was our fault because we didn't play smart. How did you guys like the fight?

Great post. I absolutely loved it.
I came in when the NC had east Voltan tower the first time, and we fought for 30 minutes inside, since we were trapped from all the vehicles. Then I fought on the bridge and along the beach, then at North naum tower, then at East naum tower, then the base was hacked, then we finally went in panic mode and got the resecure as well as Bitol. That battle kicked ass. After that though the VS recalled, but I don't blame ya. There's little exp(and especially cep) when you're on the defensive. Maybe the side that loses the base gets just a little bit of exp(like 1000 max?) might give an incentive to stick around to fight or something. |

It took a damn long time to get the NC away from voltan and over to bitol. I had to log right before that, but my officers filled me in on what went down after I left. Every time we fight on hossin the zergfest for voltan takes a good hour and a half. If we just focused on rolling bitol then ixtab and flanking the defenders at voltan we could retake hossin in an hour and a half tops rather than four hours.

I dont know about u guys but i really dont care about exp. CEP maybe, since i think i would be a good commander, and especially that night left me really pissed and ashamed at the vanu cr5s. All i really care about is kills. There was plenty of killin that night. People may think it sucked because there was no exp, but i had a great time. The NC commanders were very smart on that tactic. I mean if we had sanctuary strikes at that point then i guess the NC would think they would be doomed, we basically were outnumbering u and the continent was locked and u couldnt bring more troops in. After NC took bitol there was nothing but to recall. After that u hacked most of our bases and blew the gens. So there would be no hope but to go and repel the invading TR.
