A boy. A boy was all he was when the accident happened. A boy in the raging and virtually endless war on Auraxis. This boy lived a life of tragity and grief. His nature was kind, but took a sharp turn. Ever since the accident, his ambitions have become beyond evil. This boy is Krome. This is his story.

A bright day it was. Not many days like this were on Auraxis. The day seemed to be free of war - this is the day where the legendary evil was born. It was in the Vanu Sovereignty Sanctuary. In the Central Sanctuary Hospital, or SCH, a 25 year old infiltrator and support role soldier, Jennyboo, and an air/ground pilot, Archaon, were in the stage of labor. The baby was suspected to come out any moment. Then, in less than an hour, he was born. No - not he - it was born.

A casual baby that looked as if it completely blended in. A male, with odd silver hair, as if it were painted chrome. Because of this, they named him Krome. The Constitution of Auraxis named him an infiltrator/hacker, born only to slay any opponents that stood in front of the Vanu Sovereignty.

Archaon and Jennyboo were always in war. They hardly had any time to see Krome. Krome usually stayed alone by himself in his Dwelling. He sometimes contacted Archaon through two-way TV screens, but this didn't happen often. Archaon and Jenny always want to be with Krome, but sadly, they can't.

Krome was once taken to Cyssor by Archaon to spend some time with his father. Archaon binded Krome to every spawn point on the continent to be sure nothing happened to him. Archaon and Krome were in a Reaver, just west of Technology Plant Leza. A Sparrow MAX bought the Reaver down. Archaon ejected Krome and himself from the Reaver and hid behind a tree. Archaon told him to wait one second as he takes out the MAX with his deciminator. So, he surges off.

An NC child, for whatever reason, was on Cyssor too, just west of Leza. His name was Obby. He nor Krome know nothing of this war. Obby finds Krome hidden behind a tree and asks if he wants to play. Krome makes his only friend. Krome and Obby talk over two-way monitors, but must do it in superb secret, for if his father ever found out, he would completely isolate him from talking with an enemy.

Part II: Hell rises

One day, in Oshur, Krome, now at the age of 17, was assigned his very first mission. This mission was to sneak into Technology Plant Dahaka, currently captured by the Terran Republic, hack it, and manage to defend it by himself with an AMP pistol, two ACes and his infiltrator suit. He was covered by a friendly Quasar MAX named Millerbug.

Millerbug and Krome sneak through the backdoor of Dahaka. Slowly, they make it to the staircase. Millerbug stays at the spawn tube, securing it, while Krome stealthfully makes it up the stairs. He encounters a TR man named Hamma. This is Krome's first true enemy. Slowly, he get's behind Hamma, and pulls out his ACE. He places it right behind Hamma while he is accessing his Reaver.

The life of a man who fights for peace rests in Krome's thumb. Just the press of the detonator, and he'd kill him. He's never had such responsibility or power. A human being's precious life in his hands. What could he do? He didn't know. He was so young and unexperienced, he didn't have the heart. He couldn't kill him. Krome gets the detonator and crushes it with his foot. Hamma rushes off in his Reaver.

Millerbug reports that the spawn tubes are now destroyed, and he is coming up to cover Krome as he hacks the Control Console. Krome makes it to the Control Console, pulls out his REK, and, for his first time, hacks a control Console - hacks anything for that matter. Since he is a novice hacker and doesn't even have the hacking certification, he is having trouble. He remembered reading a manual about having to access the control.exe file, so he figured it'd be techplantDahaka.exe that he'd have to reroute.

No matter how many times he tries, he cannot access the Dahaka root folder. But, eventually, he keeps staying at it, and "Technology Plant Dahaka has been hacked by the Vanu Sovereignty. 15:00" appears on his visor. He had done it. He has hacked his first base.

So, during the 15 most intense minutes in his life, he sits in the Control Console room with Millerbug.

9:34 minutes have passed into the hack. Everything is still secure, no action, no gunfires, nothing. It looked clean and easy for his first mission. But, this is when something happens that triggers the ultimate evil to erupt.

Suddenly, an enemy AMS seems to have been deployed just north of the base. The driver of it hops out, carrying two deciminators. He goes through the backdoor. Krome senses him on his radar, and is very scared.

"Don't worry, you're a rookie. I'll take care of this. Watch a pro do it." said Millerbug. The TR soldier appears to be Hamma, the man Krome let go just 10 minutes ago. He walks up the stairs, and into the control console room. Millerbug jets up, activating his Quasar gun. Hamma takes out his first deciminator and pounds Millerbug, airborne. Both Millerbug and Hamma have half health left. Millerbug fires dead on target, but Hamma activates his Personal Shield implant. Just then, his Deciminator recharges and shoots another missile, dead on. Millerbug falls to the floor, covered in blood.

His heart stopped. Krome's heart seemed to simply vanish, crushed. His first partner, his first companion, someone who fought for what he believed in, died, just like that, never to come back. Krome's blood pumped up. He has never been this mad before. Ever. His veins almost pop out of his head. He watches as Hamma gets his REK and begins to hack the Control Console, resecuring it.

Krome continues to keep his rage in, trying not to let go, but he can't. He looks at Millerbug's decapitated head...that is too much. So much power...that his infiltrator suit malfunctions. He is visible, and Hamma can clearly see him. He pulls out his Minichaingun and open fires. The bullets simply seem to bounce off.

Krome let's the anger go. He grows taller, wider, his muscles buldge out. His eyes go into the back of his head, and then turn red. His hair gets extremely shiny. Hamma has no idea what is happening, and keeps firing his Deciminator, but the rockets just bounce off. Krome can feel the energy flowing inside of him.

With a simple kick in the stomach, Hamma dies. Blood splatters everywhere, the floor and walls of the Dahaka Control Console room, completely splattered in blood. Krome begins to grow back into what he used to be, anger completely faded. He has no idea what just happened. He looks around the room, and sees Millerbug and Hamma lying on the floor. He remembers it all. Krome letting Hamma go, nobely. Then, Hamma coming back and killing Millerbug...and he could have prevented that just with the click of a button. What has he done?

Technology Plant Dahaka has been captured by the Vanu Sovereignty. His first capture. But also his first time to turn into a grotesque monster...he knew he could not control his rage. His hair began to turn back to normal, not as chromy as before. His eyes turn back normally.

The cameras scattered around the base have recorded this extremely odd event. The Constitution of Auraxis now has big plans for Krome, but also big drawbacks. He is now completely isolated from all friendly troops except for his parents. Everyone fears him. No one knows what he is. What happened to him? Why can't he hold his rage in? No one knows, but one thing is for sure, that Krome knows.

Today has been the Storm of Blood.
