Infiltrator Implants


I'm curious, that with the posibility of requireing silent run implant for infiltrators to avoid detection in ILF protected SOIs, which set would the infiltrators choose?

My current setup is:

A) Surge, for boomer runs and just plain running. Necesity be able to out-run your opponents if you are an infiltrator. Your speed is your only defence once they know you're there.

B) DLV, so that I don't get jumped by other stealthers that were camping by the CC/door. Necesity to increase surviveablitiy. Reaction isn't an option when you have 0 armor

C) Audio Amp, so that I know when there are enemy troops comeing and I can get out of the way and hide. Not quite necesity, but up there because the 30 seconds that you're hacking a tower CC is very long if there is any type of fighting going on, and you need to know when to breakthe hack.

If it prevents ILF detection, I may switch out my Audio Amp for Silent Run, but it would reduce my effectiveness dramaticly.

There needs to be an implant that makes an infiltrator invisible to DL/Interlink if the infiltrator is motionless.

A little story. Today I was running around a bio lab and I got to the entry chamber. I flicked DL with my mousewheel-down like I do 20 times a minute. I see an infiltrator and commence to making the al dente blood lasagna. The infiltrator sends me a tell... 'how the heck did you see me??' to which I reply 'I flicked DL and I saw you' and he said 'So you just chose that moment to turn on DL eh?' like he thought something was amiss, so I said 'I bind it to my mousewheel and flick it on and off', which I do. So basically, it's WAY too easy for a seasoned implant user to detect infiltrators. You might say "well he should have been a better infiltrator" but in my experience, that logic applies to any imbalance issue.

The devs are working on a new rabbit for the infiltrator's hat, so you sneaks will be vindicated, I sh*t you not.

they should make it so that you need DL to see a very faint outline of us. So you actually have to look, we don't just glow.

i was thinking that the devs could make infiltrator specific implants/certs.

like infil implant would allow you to be virtually DL safe (like the outline mentioned), but its an implant so you still have to turn it on.

as for the avd. infil cert have more inventory space, or another holster for REK/MED/ENG things, or make the Wraith work the way it should, seeing as how ramming 2 rexos gets you dead.

infils need some loving

I think they should change DL to be an infrared, and they could add an implant to drop your body temperature. While you're moving the implant takes a lot of stamina and still isn't fully successful (faint outlines) and while you're stationary it takes less stamina and almost completely erases your figure (about the same as crouch walking). That way it's not a no-brainer, you still have to use an implant and if you aren't doing it properly you're hosed.
