This aint a time to brag about your outfit (and i could brag for as long as i want), but are you in an outfit?
Me? Yes, one of the most organized outfit out there. But thats the bad thing. most organized, meaning when they want you there, you got to be there or its out of the dog house for you. Now remember the times when the game just came out, you met people, they were from everywhere. It was like a fighting chatroom. Now look right now, the people you fight with, they all have to be big because they want to have a chance at leading the outfit. Dont get me wrong, i want to get one chance at leading an outfit, but that means screw thte socail life, its time to act like a Vietnam vet. Why did i make his thread? Because thats why I think this game truely sucks. "You could change everything, its just the people and their attitudes that makes this place great." (i stole that quote from my grandma, since the new owner of the trailer park is raising rent to what we think kick everyone out). Remember, its not the weapons, vehicles, 1 minute HART timer that makes this game fun, its the people who use it. And the people who use it, aren't too socail(sp). This is the reason why I think the game sucks. Flames/agreements? |

You every try Battle.net? My first online game was StarCraft.
I've played on B.net, on and off, for about three years. Coming from there, the PS community is a bunch of sweet old grandmothers that give out 1000 dollar bills every time you ask. Think about it. My outfit isn't like that. We're casual fighters that don't care about OP or elite military maneuvers. We just have fun and make fun of my computer. I like the PS community. There's always a helpful engineer that repairs your tank without you even asking. There's always a medic that sneaks up behind you and brings you up to full health. There's always a hacker that holds the door open while a squad of MAXes run inside. There's always a Galaxy, waiting for the people without rides to hop in and go to the action. Everyone helps everyone because if they didn't, they would get stomped. You must not play very many other online games if you think the community sucks. |

I wish I could say my outfit was booming and wonderful, but really I just know a bunch of guys on there now, from my outfit and a fellow one, and we just casually play, ok we use teamspeak, but it's a game to us rather than a conquest, I mean the game is kind of too monotone to take it seriously.
All in all I like the PS community (doesn't include the gen discussion people on PS offical forums) cause I mean I stood one day and talked to an NC guy, not to sure why, just did... had a friendly knife fight, watched the sun go down, well ok not the last one.. My point is the first guy is right, it's about the players not the weapons, sure I don't want my head blown off every time I spawn, but that's why you have squads.. |

My outfit is ok right now. There's too much infighting.
But yeah, this game has good people compared to others. And I've played a lot of them. I started with StarCraft also. nothing like "gg loser fagets" or "hey fuk u bitch you beat me but i'm cooler irl" Then CS. "i'll fuken tk you agian if you steal my kill again bitch!" and "omfg you suk switch teams you homo." PS is a lot better in terms of community. |

When i was in 7th legion i had more fun plaing a video game than i ever had before. There was just something about how we ran things that made everything perfect for me.
Strike is nice, and i think i have potential with them, although no outfit will ever be as good as 7th was IMO. But yes outfits make this game enjoyable. |

My outfit is great, we are organized, play well together and have a good time. Most importantly, we are a bunch of mates who have played with eachother in other games in the past, and hook up for a beer or 5 when we are in the same area. The aussie gaming community isn't that big.
The ps community as a whole is great, compare it to the CS community (kiddies with something to prove) and you can see what a step above it is. b.net has a great setup for the community, what with integrated chatrooms for loitering in while waiting for a game, and the AUS1 and AUS2 channels have some good people in them. |

I couldn't imagine playing without an outfit. It makes things so much more organized and fun. I'm in Liquid Force. We just did some training today so I'm really excited. We don't mass recruit. The only time we recruit is when we occasionally squad with a non-outfit member and like him/her. We require active players, and willing to follow command. Our formation are a lot like the military but we have some good'ol fun too. We're all friends so we all have fun, new members become friends. I don't think I'd play Planetside without my outfit.
too much mushy shit ROB ZOMBIE RULES!

Win lose or draw; I could never imagine being anywhere other than with the Dragon Wolves.
Honor, Valor, and Victory... it really means something with the -CDL- I have jumped in the game alone before and it just doesn't have the same feel. But the moment I see one of the Dragon Wolves come online, the game changes for me. Suddenly it takes on meaning to accomplish something. I spent 2+ hours fighting alongside zuvarg and Polar the other day, and simply had a blast supporting and working alongside them. We didn't necessarily accomplish anything stupendous, but we made progress and we helped each other. Tis Good to be -CDL-...
