Sorry I have to rant here, but I can't hold it in any longer. I bought the game, brand new, sealed and everything. When I installed the game and tried to creat an account it said the key I entered was already in use. *wtf?* Sat there for a bit, double, triple checked to make sure I entered the key provided then decided to call the customer support number.
I tried to be as polite as possible on the phone as they told me it WASN'T their problem. I then explained that it was their problem as it is their game and I am their customer. I was told to buy a new copy of the game, yah right its no big deal to spend 50 extra dollars. I really don't understand why they dont find it to be their problem, they even refused to give me a new key even when they verified someone else was using it. Right now I'm just fed up with everything, SOE beeing the one to top it all off. |

Remember that guy from Boondock Saints with the IRA-funded arsenal? You need to call him, not tech support.

The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

Some people get this great idea in there head to buy the game, get the CD-key, then return it so they don't have to pay, probably a victim of one of those assholes.
Nothing tech support can or should do for you, just return the thing and make sure the store knows that somethings wrong with it so noone else gets stuck with those discs.

Just return it to the store where you bought it, tell them it was all fucked up and ask them to give you another copy.

key-gens are running rampant, though i doubt that PS is a victim of it yet. You might try calling again and be willing to fax in your reciet. but MTX solution is quicker and less of a hassle.

As the others said, return the copy to the store, telling them what SOE told you. I imagine the SOE guys WANT to help, but there's no way they can actually verify that you bought a copy of the game. So return the game and get a new keygen. You do still have the receipt, correct?
