FPS: My prob or SOE?

Some people are seeing increased performance and others, like myself, are on the verge of an uninstall/cancelation. I completely understand that everyones hardware is different and that is the grounds for the FPS issues. Please vote the response that best fits your outcome and post your systems specs when voting.

Also, try to list another current game and the FPS you experience in it (not just a flyby, make your CPU have some of the drain)

This is really just to help me understand wtf is going on and if there is something i can do, or if im going to have to cancel.

MB - Asus A7N8X Deluxe
CPU - Athlon 2500+ Barton Core
GPU - Asus GeForce 4 Ti4800SE 128MB
RAM - 512MB PC3200
HDD - Western Digital 120GB 7200RPM JB series

UT2K3 - BOTMATCH - 65-80 FPS (depends on map)

None of the FPS problems are your fault if you had the game running smoothly before the patch. Don't let their marketing bastards get in your head, they screwed up and are trying to play the old Micro$oft game of blaming anything they can except their own buggy code. I'm pretty sure I will be cancelling in 2 weeks once my game card has expired unless they get this fixed by then. It's just unacceptable, so don't be shy about it and be sure to let them know why you are cancelling with /appeal or by sending them an email.

it is possible that drivers could be an issue, but since when have hardware companies had to write drivers for a specific game? never. i completely agree with you man.

also, im getting on in about 10mins or so, the first thing i will do is /appeal. thanx, good sugestion.

My fps is fine with:

GF4 MX 440
athlon 2400+
512MB DDR PC2700 RAM
ASUS A7S333

I run at 16bit colour and fairly low settings and 1024x768, and my graphics card set to Highperformance/ Blend quality.

Usualy it's fine but it certain corridors and planes I get MASSIVE slow down. So bad I cant play.

Playing on a population locked continent slowed the game to a halt, then it crashed.
