Tower NTU Silo's

I Was Listening the the 11-7 Roundtable, And then it Hit Me bases aren't Drain by Getting Equipment and Spawning. And Only reall Things that are Destroyed in a Tower On a Regular Basis is the Turret's Very rarely Do Turret's Get Destroyed for long in a Big Tower Battle. So having NTU's On Tower's is pointless, Cuz when they thought this idea up the NTU Consumption was different!

Yes well, no one ever said it was going to be implemented.

What if George W. Bush grew a brain and could actually lead? What if the United States wasn't in debt 3 trillion dollars? What if my cat chased mice instead of me? Like you said, when they thought it up the consumption of NTU's of bases was different. Of course, I think NTU's on a tower is stupid because it defeats the purpose of having a side-spawn point when your base gets raped.

It would give ANT drivers something more to do.

Something I've been pondering...

What if they removed the doors from the base of the tower?

The only access was from dropping on the roof, or moving through a tunnel connecting the tower to the base. The railing would have to be removed from the balcony in order for maxes to jump off too.

They stated long ago that NTU silos on towers would probably happen, but they arent changing it yet because its such a huge gamplay change.

There have been many ideas tossed around by the community, such as towers being powered by the bases around them among other things.

If they do add tower NTU's, then they better make a flying ANT to go along with it. Which isn't a bad idea, if you think about it. Still no weapons. But it can fly fast.

Or hover/float. An ANT that could cross water would be nice.

NTU's for towers and I'll prolly quit. It doesn't seem reasonable and there doesn't seem to be a neccesity to ehnhance the difficulty it takes to defend a tower. It is already hard enough. If anything, they need to be putting the 5min hack timers on towers. (or 2.5 just whatever) to increase the defensive capability of the towers.

NTU's on towers would just kill gameplay, if you were defending and you ran out of NTU's then *poof* there goes the tower. Towers are strategic spawn/re-equip points located around the continent. Having to supply them with power just makes them rather pointless. Now if they happend to drain power from a base whenever someone spawns, this would put more pressure on the defenders, causing more ANT runs to power the base thus keeping the battle at the tower going. If the power at the base died, then the towers would get oh, say 10 minutes before power there died out too. Makes for more strategic planning and teamwork getting power and whatnot.
