I have already tried posting this in the tech forums, but not enough people go there to make it work :-(
But here we go, I have been running PS and Teamspeak newest version for months(TS). But recently whenever i run TS with ANY program, and that includes just windows XP Os, It locks the computer. I cannot alt-F4 and no CTRL-alt-Del. Nothing works and needs a hard reboot. I have tried reinstalling TS numerous times, tried playing with dif codecs, all sorts of stuff. It will last anywhere from 3 minutes to 45 before it requires a restart. Hopefully (not being mean) someone has had and fixed this problem, as TS is a very big part of my PS outfit and it just makes it a hell of alot more fun and tactical. If anyone has any ideas and sugestions, please, i will try anything short of wiping my computer. Either PM me or just respond here. Thanks in advance guys. |

I have tried setting the prority already, no help. AS for sound drivers, i have an onboard sound card. I havent gotten anything except what came with the computer as its only 4 months old. Ill look into that. Thanks and keep the suggestions flowing.

Try WAVE as opposed to directsound in your TS2 settings. Beyond that, I'd tend to think it is a probelm with your sound card driver. There are no issues with TS2 and XP or any other the OS's for that matter and it is known to work with 99% of the software out there.
