Maxes, Self Destruct

A few ppl have mentioned this to me on PS, and they say maxes should be able to self detruct incase of near death. Personally i don't think this is a good idea, because all maxes would do is run into a populated area and SD in the middle.

Wat do u think?

I think they need to bring back the suicide command. This game isnt nearly as exp driven as it once was and it'd be a much nicer solution then having to recall out when you get stuck under the world. Also I dont believe you should be able to blow yourself up and do damage to people just because your a max.

No. As you say, you would have Maxes running into crowds of enemy, just to self-destruct.

maybe if it needed a five second charge-up , or you have to wait 10 seconds after coming out of run mode, so you wouldn't have any kamikazes

Sure, why not? Maxes (at least NC maxes) are basically ineffective anyways.

Well, you can't have it all can you.
As said by DoomWarrior, people will self destruct in crowds. In tower defences for example. Think of the poor anchored TR MAXs...

i think terrahertz is going a lil to far about the Devs favoring the NC , the game is balanced , each empires theme is balanced , and its going to far when you say they favor NC just cause of 2001 screens. Vanu were the 3rd empire considered later it was originally going to be two empires TR vs NC (The evil empire vs. freedom fighters) type scenerio
