i looked at this vote thing (can't think of the word) that asked what empire you wanted to be and TR had mabye 1,000 more people then vanu and way more then NC wouldn't this mean that when people get the game and are trying to get bases the TR might take alot because they have more people then both of the other empires so how are vanu and NC sposed to stand a chance against TR.

Common mistake...using one group of people to represent a whole..the people who come to these forums and do polls are far less than those who do not.
Even so, I'm absolutely positive that on some servers the ratio between sides wont be 1to1to1. Can we expect to see servers where one side is dominating because of an advantage in numbers...of course. I think the team were working on ways to even it out but either I can't remember or they just haven't announced it.

i don't see why people hate vanu. if you hate thier lasers well why is that? they are not cheap because well we have not even played the game yet so you can't say any thing about any of the empires because we don't know that much (well we do but we don't know if any of them are cheap) we could say that NC was cheap or TR or vanu and make up all these reasons but we don't know till this game comes out so just stop it with the vanu crap vanu did nothing to you!

Ok first off yes TR seems to be the very popular choice(just look at the PSU staff and Dev team

) but that doesn't mean the other empires will get 0wnzed, the dev team already said that they will implement stuff to help even the balance so no worries.

Second yes people bash on the VS and yes they have no real reason(other than maybe male insecurity towards purple

) but as you said it's just a game, no need to complain about something as trivial as people bashing your empire, bash back, insult theirs or do like i do and just ignore them.
