I find it amusing how popular this quote has become nowadays. Before Bush went to war with Iraq, nobody gave a rat's ass about this quote because Goering was a pontificating fucktard who didn't know his ass from his elbow throughout the entirety of his Nazi career. But now, well, I guess recent events have made people forget who said the quote, instead focusing on the fact that it was said by someone who isn't alive anymore, and therefore must be an infallable gem of wisdom to be placed on the highest pedistal of truth.

As for my favorite quote, it's one by Winston Churchill. "The strongest argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter."
