it's not that big of a problem, unless you take into account that i can't so mutch as turn without having the game jump. i use a Compaq Presario s4000V(it sucks, i know.) with over 540mb of DDRAM, and a P4. i'm asuming at this point the lag is largely a result of my lack of a video card, which i shall aquire when my funds permit. i also have alot of the more power-draining aspects of the game disabled(flora, low resolution, ect.). any ideas on how i could reduce lag further?

What kind of lag is this, Frame(fps issues) or Connection lag. If you want to reduce frame lag more, change you quality settings th 16 bit instead of 32 you should see a nice Preformance enhancement. For connection lag, change your connetion settings to low and it should work faster. More memory is a big plus in this game too, it eats up to a gb of ram that is if you have it.

A GB?! DAMN!
i'll try that. [EDIT]after checking my settings, i have found that i already have it set for 16 bit and low bandwidth. i guess it's just the lack of video card.[/EDIT]
