I played FFXI for a month and got tired of it. I made an add in ebay selling the all the original cds and mini guides. I also included that there was a lvl 10 warrior. I get an e-mail today saying that the add was removed becuase it contained copyrighted material. I dont know what the hell was copyrighted, I assume it was becuase of the char on it becuse people who posted similiar add had broken links like mine. But why my char, people are selling 1000's of gil and there not getting in trouble. Does anyone know whats up with this copyrighted character crap?

that sounds some what like Our body's are borrowed from god... but wait arent our material poscessions(sp?) also borrowed as well?
game companies are weird like that most RPG's sell the items and characters: everquest asheron's call diablo II anarchy online etc.

1. SW:G, Was to be made the same thing. You would be able to sell items but not characters. 2. The character itself take alot of room to remember every aspect of it. Skills, looks, quests done etc. Seems simple to store but with alot of characters on the servers it becomes heavy. The items themselves take less room.. alot. So... you "rent" space from the company to make a character. The space you rented is theirs but the items stored are not. Like if you rent a house... you can work on it. Enlarge it all you want, heck you can make a castle out of it. But in the end you will only own the things in it like your bed, your clothes.

*edit i always had some respect for you spider so nothing was ment to attack you if you want to attack my spelling at least give what the correct spelling is that was what i asked for and you do in fact bring up a good point that i was unaware of before hand ... Thank You.
