VWN: Vanu Werner News
Core Event Shambles The scheduled core event set for Sunday 7pm GMT saw hundreds gather at the Oshur sactuary. A slight delay was casued by the NC and TR while they assembled their tardy forces. After a small wait the order was given to move out and VS forces poured onto the HART. Soon, drop pods rained out of the sky around the forseral geowarp and adjacent facilties. After the hordes of infantry and vehicles were prepared, the influx began. The Core has never seen so many people. TR, NC, and VS swamped the normaly peaceful caves of Auraxis. As the VS emerged from the warp bubble a few opertunist NC attempted to gain some cheap kills by doing stafing runs in mosquitos and reavers. They were quickly put to death. Within minutes the VS established their dominance by capturing two facilites and placing AMS' at strategic locations. Howver, it soon became clear something was wrong. The slaughtered TR were entering the caverns though the forseral warp gate, not via ams. Soon reports were comming in of people being warped back to sanc. This reporter experianced the effect first hand. After a while it became clear that the captured spawn points and ams' were inoperable. Each and every death caused respawn at sanc. The annoyance soon became intolerable and the first squads began to pull out of the Core Event, branding it a shambles. Enrico, VS co-organiser of the event aplogised and said another event would be scheduled. Further bugs and errors were discovered as people were gunned down from outside the geowarp bubble and other such inexplicable errors. This reporter caught up with a TR and asked him if he was expericaning difficulties. "Affirmative" replied the solidier. After which he proceeded to surge off to his outfit screaming cease fire. the next soldier to come along was VS. When questioned about the problems he replied. "It's almost as if they don't want us down here." Could the strange geowarp energies be playing havoc with out technology? Or is this just one of the dimensional abnormalities caused by the wormhole proximity? Who knows, lets just hope the next event isn't ruined. This is TeraHertz, in the Caverns reporting for VWN, signing out.

I could have just done a boring standard post, but I thought this would be a little more interesting to read, so don't tell me that this should be in the Roleplay section.
[edit] ugh, I should have proof read that first, bad spelling and grammer all over the place, and I should have used a broader vocabulary. ah well.
