Let me explain my situation first, Our house has a wirreless router hooked up to the cable modem to serve internet out to all of the house. All of the other computers in the house have This wireless AP and work fine.
My problem is that I recently put together a new computer and bought a wireless router. (This one) to go with it (instead of a acces point). I figured all I would have to do is put it on the same channel and give it the same WEP code as the wireless router hooked to the cable modem and they would talk to one another, but I did that and instead I just have 2 seperate signals. HELP! Is there anyway to get 2 wireless routers to talk to one another in a normal way so I can get internet? Thanks in advance.

no such luck, thats why it is wireless, it is on the first florr, my router is on the third. Never you fear though, I am selling the new router to a friend and using the money to do what I should have done in the first place, buy a wirell access point.
Thanks for you helps guys, but its not needed anymore
