Today, I joing up in game with my outfit's squad, and, after much struggling at voltan, we obtained it. Then chac went through, and everyone who coudl drive a mag in our squad got one.
I used to hate gunning, since, before, it was generally with some faceless n00b who just wanted to mow everything in sight. Not so with this - I racked up around 30, 40 kills in one hour of sitting in the giant purple deathwagon, due to the fact that the driver knew WTF he was doing, and had engineering. Never again, shall I gun for a st00pid n00b.

When you have a good driver everythings different. I realy hate lib pilots that couldn't pilot a robot plane.

My best time in a tank (and dam luckiest):
Was trying to ferry my prowler from a friendly cont to a base under attack. Couldn't find a gunner, so I figure to make a run for it. Get halfway there and what do I spy, a Vanguard, and he is gunned. So, only thing to do, I charge him. He starts shooting, I start ramming. Apparently, he is more damaged than I knew, because just two shots shy of dying, his gunner leaps from the tank (unfortunately, in front of my tank) and gets run over. About this time, my tank is on top of his tank and about to explode, so I bail and he bails (just us drivers). I end up crouched on the other side of the Van, frantically trying to swap my glue gun for my shotty. Then of all things, I hear him start to repair his tank! I leap around, shoot him dead, jack his tank, then take off in my new Van (I repaired it later and had a fun run with it). I guess I live a charmed life.
