Planetside problems

When I click the Planetside icon on my desktop the appropriate launchpad shows up and I log in and I then pick the server. Once all that has been done and I am at the loading continent screen and it has finished loading, the game I guess just crashes and I am taken back to the desktop. Also whats so puzzling is that I was playing PS about 5 mins before (the game stopped working), I had gotten up to get something to eat while i was still in the Sanctuary but when i get back all I see is the desktop. Since then i can't get the actual game to load, everything else will though. What's wrong?! I would appreciate any help or information thanx.

I had the same exact prob and I will tell you the fix. Insert your first planetside CD and to to the control panel. Then go to add/remove programs and select planetside. After that, choose the "repair" option and let it repair the game. If it asks for the second cd, just insert it and carry on. **NOTE**: Do NOT do this after playing planetside, reboot your computer first. If the issue is recurring, do a clean reinstall by removing it and reinstalling. If that doesnt work, contact tech support. I hope this helps.
