People complaining about fps all the time probably made the devs cut the number of storms down. Or remove them. I havent really thought about it to be honest.Since I started playing the game I've been in one raint day, and one snow storm. Thats IT.
Maybe I switched off weather particles actualy... I'll need to look at that when I get home.

Yeah, last night on Solsar there was a HUGE sandstorm. It was really great - visibility was next to nothing. The storm covered the two bases that were under attack. I was in a MAX and then a reaver. It got really, really bad with visilbity. There was also a huge rainstorm in the NC Sanctuary last night too.
Actually it wasn't last night - it was two nights ago. last night the fighting was few and far between. Wonder why sometimes fighting is great and other times fighting is nil. |

Weather makes it more suspensful. It always seems to make the battles insane. Chaos, confusion. Think of it as in the two towers. When it rained, it gave it more enjoyment and suspense.
Ive never seen a snow storm, thought they didnt exist. We need more weather. |
