You know, the old screen shots make PS look better then than it does now

I was looking at the holiday screenies and stumbled upon the old pics. I swear, the weapons look 5 times more sharp, as does the soldier. Vehicles looka bout the same, but the colors were really kool. The bases looked more intricate as well, such as the one with a tower behind it. And my favorite one was the view of a field. It just looked better. I can't describe it, but it seems like everything looked better in those screenies. Hamma, when are those pics from anyways?

All the offical pics are mostly likely taken by a Dev who has a 3.6ghz 2gig ram and Radion 9800 pro (256) with a T3 connection. Thats why they look so much better

in the screenies- Old- ancient. the ones with the green vanguards etc. It looks surreal compared to PS now. Like theres a huge gothic looking purple tower looming in the middle of a desert. That just gives me a certain chill thats kool.

There's no such thing as a 3.6ghz processor for PCs (no, they would not be overclocking the dev's machines, that would void the warrenties). I'm also willing to bet that they don't have 2 gigs of ram either.

They probably just look better because they had all the details set to max with high resolution and high anti-aliasing. You can do that when all your taking is still shots. The images could also be using different levels of compression, which would affect their color quality.

I played in beta and I don't see much difference between now and then.
