I remember just being amazed at the landscape and the trees. Never seen trees like that in a game before. And walking into a base where even just the courtyard didn't make sense to me and I was soon shot down as it was an enemy base that I had walked 20 minutes to get to.

uuuh, I started read it, but I have a bit much to drink to do it justice, plus the fact that I've been playing planetside since eight thirty am....

I'll read it when I can give it the attention it deserves, becasue to be honest I read the first page, and it nearly sent me to sleep at my keyboard. Don't worry though thats probably the alchohol,

Yes, I think Beta was my favorite time in the game. It's odd, because I sucked awfully as PS was my first ever FPS on the computer, so I would rejoice everytime I got a kill. It was buggy, I got dropped frequently, and there was no organization. I mean comparing beta to the summer with 7th legion is like comparing a guy at the driving range to tiger woods. Yet there was something about it that was just enchanting. I remember logging in as an NC and just gawking at the landscape. It was soooo BIG! I thought the basilisk was hot stuff too. And then my days as a vanu with the taco bell commandos. It was just amazing. Although I was 50 times better in the summer and 50 times more productive and organized, the beta days are still my favorite to look bacvk on

The beta part of it was kinda made me be glad I never got in. If I got in and that happened I would've just left PS forever.

i remember getting my beta disc's and yelling "FINALLY GOD DAMNIT!!! FUCK YES!!!"

then i proceeded upstairs for the 2 hour download of the patch.
