Imagine if something came to Auraxis

i just watched final fanty the sprirts with in and the thought came to me, wat if Auraxis was invaded by lets say an lesser species like the bugs from Star Ship Trooper, or the Vanu decided to pay a surprise visit. I though this mite prove an interesting topin, i know the devs said no NPCs, but theres always the big "IF". Imagine if the Vanu, Terran, and Conglomerate had to fight side by side to negotiate this new threat

That would be very cool, if the three empires had to ally on a continent to fight an invader to save the planet. Very good idea.

iam glad someone took this post seriously. But wat do u think this new race would be, where did they some from, why did they come here, and who leads them. This may seem like spam, and please no silly answers like "I would want bears to come out from the ground and fight the VS cause i want them to", cause that will lead to spam and spam leads to lockage. Well if the Vanu popped in then i doubt the VS would take up arms and fight them. But maybe some other alien race came that would be very sweet.

Like maybe the story line was that this other "more advanced than the vanu were" race that wipped em out came back to finish up the humans.

i like the idea about the Vanu but if u listened carefuly to the AGN thing it was the Vanu who made the portal in space by using the warpgates to make a triangle inside a triangle and another triangle inside another one to escape the planet for some reason (maybe an infestation like the flood in halo and went to lets say sleep as their food supply went out, and were dormant in the caverns, and now that they have an edable food source they came back) if u have no idea wat iam saying download the first 3 ANG files from the downloads and pay attention to the story line, or check out the factions sites think the TR site has something on the matter. But very nice may the posts keep coming

aaah yeah.. ok maybe the race didnt destroy the vanu, maybe they were attacking the vanu so they warped out to escape.

Would be a bit like Independace Day to see the TR, VS, and NC join up to fight em. lol

this was a good topic until u came along. This just a "what if" thread and like i hear people say alot "if u dont have anything nice do say dont say anything at all", so unless ur going to appreciate the topic i think u should find some other place to spam

btw way i was going to post this earlier but got side tracked. This "invasion" mite take place for say 2 - 3 months, and would affect future gameplay, like if this lets say bug swarm captured/infested lets say a dropship center and was then eradicated the drop ships or equipment vehicles wat ever would lets say maybe jam up or mis fire or maybe infest u turning u into a zombie like the zerg did in star craft and u slowly lose health and the only way to get it back would be to kill, and once u die (in zombie form) it take another 30 min for u to log i because they need "clean" u up. This would give some flavour to the game while not eradicating the pvp action going on.

Actually, the TR could have the wormhole reopened, and they could have the other Terrans come back.

And then the NC would appeal as freedom fighters to the uh, Protoss.

And the VS would create a mind control device for these buglike creatures called the Zerg!

And we can call it Starcraft 2...

Sounds cool, but it woudln't happen, because they'd have to intergrate an AI system.
