I've played planetside before. I checked out a 7 day free trial a while ago. But just recently I saw that there was a 30 day free trial going on so I thought i'd download the game files and check it out.....after an extremely long 15 hour download I installed the game and continued to setup my station.com username and password.....after doing that I got an e-mail, confirming my registration. So I then tried to log into planetside but it says I don't have an account. So I click on create new account and it asks me for my activation code (yep the little bar code on the cd case )....of which I thought I would have gotten after downloading or installing the game or something to that effect....I believe it said I should have gotten an e-mail with it. But I didn't however.....and I know this for almost a fact. So here I am with a full install of planetside waiting to play for 30 days for free and I can't becuse I never got an activation code.....so what am I supposed to do??
by the way....I have windows XP installed.....because apparently you need it in order to play this trial. |

look in the readme files or reinstall and look for something you missed and click everthing in hte installation that it says you can read. then try starting the game and looking for an about thing that tells you hte game version etc. Most games that use cd keys have that individual versions cd key in that stuff or in something in the area of wher they about thihng would be, like help section or options or something. Look or it its probably in the game somewhere. Look for it in hte startup or one of the screen you can activate. Theres also a single player trainer thing try to go in it and look at what it lets you do. or go as far as you can in hte game and look for it, like in hte updates window thingy at the openning of the game if it can go that far. they usualy put it someplace obvious to people who have been using computers a long time(or have been playing pc games for 15 years would think most obvious). Its probably in somehtng during the instalation. like the end where theres usually a check box after instalation for readme. It may be one with the specific info for your dled version.

C'mon people, help the guy out. No need to kick the guy while he's lying down.
Unfortuanately, the best thing to do is give gamespot a call/email.
