Do you ever even use pistols? (non cloakers)

Never use em. Not even sure of their effectiveness in battle really. Any non cloakers out there ever use them & which do you think is the most solid?

When I run around in my sniping getup, I refuse to use my BD indoors. That said, I always have my trusty MAGScat pistol. I've taken out Rexo HA users by just strafing without surge and my magscat.

I have a repeater on most of my loadouts. When you're in a close quarters fight with someone and you both run out of ammo it's a helluva lot faster to pull a pistol and finish them off rather than reload.

I always carry a Repeater when I'm using the Sweeper, Rocklet or Thumper because they have such small clip sizes, you often need another bullet or two to finish someone off. It's way faster to whip out a pistol than reload.

I carry a AMP but I never use it

I snipe in agile armor, so I have a Reapeter on side.


But the most solid one(s) are the empire spacific, but for the NC MAGscatter. I feel the MAG is more of an indoor weapon rather than anything else, same with the AMP.

Ya, I don't see too many Scat Pistols or Beamers, but I do see quite a few Repeaters. Its a fairly powerful combo to be able to strafe with an MCG, than pop off a few killing shots with your pistol.

I have an anti-max decimator loadout, and I keep a Repeater handy in case some 'notamax' guy tries to take me.

When I snipe in agile, I carry a repeater with a single magazine of ammo. It gets a lot of mileage for a gun that I don't carry reloads for.

I carry a Scat with my Agile/Sniper.

I only use that setup when I'm sniping and driving my Lightning, usually I go reinforced with a Sweeper/BD.

Ive tried using the repeater sometimes, but I was never successful. I've managed to punk a magscatter pistol once and kill a cloaker with it.

ever seen the kinda tells people send u after u kill them with a beamer? thats why i always bring one in rexo

I always carry a sidearm, even if I have no ammo for it. Usually if I'm using a thumper or a bolt driver and some lucky cloaker finds me i'll click on DL and my amp, a lot easier to hit them with that.

The other night I had my decimator loadout charging a VS taken tower and I got up to the CC with no more rockets I pulled out my amp and took out two wounded VS grunts, I thought it was quite amusing that my little amp did that.
