Freedom

Well I just trashed my PS cds in order to free myself from the relentless torture of this confounding game.

I have a life time free account and the cds were also free. Even though I had this I was constantly uninstalling PS out of pure frustration and anger. A couple days later after I cooled down I reinstalled it but ended up reinstalling it after a few days again. The funny thing is this game is damn addicting even though overall I think its a POS. I cant explain it. Maybe cause its free which can be enticing and maybe its because PS in concept is the type of battle game I have always wanted to play, even though its so poorly done. I am a torn miserable soul.

Well PS you will torment me no more.

hehe, honestly I would like to give it away cause I would hate to see it go to waste. I think I will try and pawn it off on one of my friends and see if they get as frustrated as I did.

I dont think anyone should have to pay subscription for this. Well not over $10 anyway. Just think about it for $20 you could rent a ton of games for console from Blockbuster or Gamefly.com. I think that is a much better way to spend money.

A free acount, how would you get your hands on that and free cds? Also you may think PS was poorly done, but many believe otherwise. Also you have to pay over $10 for keeping the servers up, paying the staff, as well as all the extra features you get from playing a MMOG that you have to pay a monthly fee for.

I don't think it's the game that's poorly done, it's the people playing it who don't take advantage of what it has to offer. This game is based on the concept of using TEAM strategy to overwhelm the other empires TEAM strategy. The keyword here is "team", guys. I would like to relate two stories that give examples of this:

1) My squad and I had just landed on Naum, Hossin, to give some support to the NC against a TR assault. The odds weren't overwhelming, it was about 25 TR vs. 20 NC. So my squad of 8 landed and moved into the base, blasting our way through some heavy TR defenses and pushing into the CourtYard and into the door. We then split up and move to our assigned positions, as we always do. Mine was to guard the Spawn Room. I get there, and what do I see? At least 6 NC soldiers mulling around in there, goofing off and not helping at all. I do a /l to all of them to head up and help guard the base, and you know what they say? "Why bother?" and "Bah, we'll just die and end up back here!" WHAT THE FUCK GUYS!?!?!?! I know some of them were probably on a trial, but to those that pay the subscription, WHY THE HELL DO YOU PAY $12 TO SIT IN THE F*CKING SPAWN ROOM!!!!

2) My second story is relatively short. I joined a random squad, hotdropped to their local, and asked the SL for orders. He says "Do whatever you want, it doesn't matter." Ahh, HELLO! This is a team-based game, that relies on strategy and co-operation to win! *sigh*

Anyways, that's my 2 cents.
