Planetside Freezing

Hello, I just recently built the following system:

P4 2.6GHz 800MHz FSB
Abit IS7-E
Sapphire Atlantis Radeon 9600pro
512MB pc3200 400MHz Crucial Ram
Western Digital Caviar 80GB drive w/ 8mb cache
In an Enermax case w/ 350W PS.

I'm using the onboard sound and all the latest chipset/vid/etc... drivers from the respective manufacturers sites.

I got the free trial and started playing but the game keeps freezing on me. It freezes within 5 minutes in the weapons training bay. Other then that I can go a good 20mins before it dies, although it froze when I got into a fight in the bottom of a tower.
I have all my settings maxed out for the most part. Everything else on my system runs fine, I've been playing Prince of Persia at 1024x768 with everything maxed as well with no errors or freezing so I don't think anything is overheating.

Has anyone heard of this sort of problem before? Anyone have any ideas of how I can go about fixing this?

Thanks in advance!

Does the game just freeze and then start working again, does it CTD, or does is crash the computer?

Also you comp is good but don't use max settings in PS that would probably create, what i like to call, poloroid gaming.

Already running the latest ATI drivers. I know it sounds alot like overheating but I can't get it to freeze in any other apps so it leads me to believe it's planetside specific.

Any other ideas? I appreciate all your help so far!

Joshi has a decent computer. He should be able to run PS fine on low or medium settings. Although I have no hope for undetected.
