OK, read the title of another thread and misunderstood it, but what I thought it meant sounded pretty cool. Rexo is unloved atm, but what if a new group of weapons were created to make Rexo a virtual Hallmark store of love? I don't have a ton of specific ideas for weapons, more the idea for how they're implemented. They would require Rexo, not just for the heck of it, but because they require two rifle slots, and possibly both pistol slots as well. Examples:
1. <Insert Favorite Star Trek Word Here*> Canon - Straps across the chest of infantry, damage and RoF would be roughly the same as the lancer, but larger clip.
2. <Insert Favorite Star Wars Word Here> Mortar - Basically fires like a thumper, but larger radius damage and greater range. Pretty much worthless at short range.
These give Rexo some luvin, but don't really overpower IMHO. What you guys think about multi-slot weaponry?
*Examples of good words are Ion, Plasma, Deflector, Warp, or Door.
