Rexo Buff?


Anyone have a set date on when the rexo is going live? I thought it would be out now...*sniff*. I've been waiting for a while...

is it even in the test server yet? spork's post said they were having trouble with stuff in that patch and they couldnt get it up on the test

Someone posted TTK graphs for the rifles on the new Rexo. If it isnt on test how did they get those numbers?

They could have simply used the current information on the weapons and rexo, added the proposed improvements to the rexo stats and calculated the new TTK. Just a guess.

ahh yes, thats true.

Were the proposed changes: 200 total armor and +20% absorption from the current Rexo?

* Reinforced Exosuit now absorbs two more points of damage and has 50 more armor.

With no movement speed changes that is going to be really sweet. Also it looks like if Grunts want to continue ownage they are going to have to spend 3 points and specialize themselves properly to do so

My grunt chars are also. I absolutely refuse to participate in the Surge/Agile/HA/Warp cheeze for easy kills and would rather do it the way the game was intended to work. Rexo was always intended to be the most effective HA/Shock trooper and sadly it has been broken for so long. I am really excited about this buff

Pretty simple, just raise the armor to 200, and the absorbtion to 10
Instead of 150 and 8

I'm afraid that you will no longer be able to 2-shot a rexo with the BD if there is a Healing/Health MOD present...

I hate to say it but that would make the health mod much more important, thus making the caverns more important which is a good thing IMO

You might want to look into Light scout or ground transport, i'd dump HA for them but not everyone has a conscience.

The lightning lets you throw in your chips outside, the Harrasser provides transport when you want to stay in your rexo, the Del makes a great guntruck/assault transport, and the sunderer is a POS but it lets you bring a pair of maxes along.
