Greetings,
I am sorry if this is a duplicate threading, but I was pressed for time and didn't have the urge to search the forums. Here are some questions about the Mosquito as I have just aquired that certification as of last night: 1) What control interface is used for the Mosquito? - i.e. Is it easier to use a joystick interface or just use the keyboard/mouse combination? 2) How long does one have to wait to get another Mosquito if dying to quickly? I know it's about five minutes for a MAX suit, any configuration. - i.e. The timer that shows when trying to obtain a Mosquito. I have found that trying to use the keyboard and mouse combination it's really hard to control the Mosquito. Everytime I move the mouse even in the slightest the cursor will jump and then I will be unable to shoot at the enemy. The easiest targets would be vehicles, but the Mosquito is much more effective against light infantry. I love the flying aspect and transportation aspect of the Mosquito, but I just have so much trouble trying to control the dang thing! That is the reason for the questions about control interface. Any advice, suggestions or comments would be appreciated. Thank you.

Practice. The first thing I did in PS was grab air Calvery (Me and a friend played with reavers and a mossie) and found the flight model to be annoying. The reason for this is because its not a aft propulsion system. Meaning that you dont require forward thrust to say aloft. So flying becomes more like extreamly complex sailing. My suggestion is to get more practice and get your setting to a comfortable level.

As Vick said, the easiest solution is turning your mouse sensitivity way down. It's a bit counterintuitive, I know. As for the joystick, I plugged one in when I first got a Reaver cert, and after an hour or so of playing, unplugged it. The current flight model is just too simplistic for the joystick to be much use over a keyboard and mouse. If they ever implement barrel rolls and loops, however, a joystick will probably become much better in PS.
In the meantime, practice with the mouse and keyboard. It'll be a bit clumsy for awhile, but soon it should be second nature.

Thanks for the advice everybody. I have had some more practice with the controls and seem to be a little bit better. The aiming is still a little hard, but I can manage. For now, I'm just using the Mosquito for hot drops over hot zones.

Joystick is a bad choice with the way PS currently works. Very bad choice.

Just keep dogfighting, its the only way to learn. Ignore ground targets if there are enemy birds in the air. If you are up against multiple aircraft, focus on the ones that are busy shooting at something else. If you get ambushed or start taking fire, turn around and face the enemy instead of afterburning away (this applies as long as you have at least 50% health).
