DirectDraw Error #225

When I start up a game, I can play it for less than 10 mins before it just kicks out back to the desktop with no explaination. I did have a few dialog boxes that came up describing the errors (like KERNEL32.dll), but I have since fixed those, including updating DirectX, yet it still continues to boot me out of the games. Once I'm forced back to the desktop, nothing works properly and I have to reboot the system.

I have no problems running Office programs or Internet Explorer for long periods of time, it seems like it is just the games. The latest error box I got said DirectDraw Error #225, and I can find no support anywhere.

Any thoughts on any of the above?????

Try reinstaling DX 9b.

Also PS specs would be helpfull
