How do you capture game footage with Windows Movie Maker? I wanna make a planetside video but have no idea how. Im guessing once you'r in game theres a hotkey or somethin that u can press to start capturing video.. someone help plz!

The problem with fraps is that it records typically around 25-30 fps for the videos. While that sounds just fine, for some reason in game it makes your FPS go to total shite.I've tried using fraps 2.0 to record movies during some larger battles, but my fps fluctuates like crazy. One second it's 20 fps, then it's 2. Only really happens to me in PlanetSide too. Also, movies you record with fraps (2.0 anyway) are recorded as a .avi, and for some reason you need the fraps codec to watch them. And the only way to get this codec is to, well, install fraps

Anyways I got the free one that records with no sound at 640x380 or whatever.. and I made a movie with windows movie maker.. this shits fun. |
