Neither of these are my ideas. I just really like them and think they could use some recognition.
Deployable Emplacements by Hayoo Real Rewards V.2 by SilentSparrow Well, I had a somewhat lengthy post drawn up outlining them and what I liked about each, but I accidentally deleted it. Quick overview: Real Rewards V.2- If combined with Hayoo's original container idea I posted, probably on page two by now, you'd see some unique looking players, and you'd also be able to identify their accomplishments. Emplacements- Emplacements would make great chokepoints, be useful for a variety of uses, and give Combat Engineers a much-expanded role. Also check out that post's crossreferenced link to "Comtechs", a cool idea that I'll post a formal link and thoughts about later.

Heres a idea i just sent to Hayoo for idea lab,but before i list it are the wishful patch notes things that are getting into the game if so it'll make the wait until my dad lets me resubscribe again even longer Well heres the idea
Industrial sites from when the planet was colonized. There might be just one on a planet. These can create a new concept. Fuel for vehicles, and metals like steel. This might introduce a new tractor like vehicle. Maybe a new cert like Industry. Instead of taking power to make vehicles it would take metal and fuel. Repairs and refueling would be the reason why they aren't combined. Spawning and base repairs would take energy instead. Large trucks could carry metals mined from beneath the suface. Large fuel trucks could carry fuel from oil derricks.

There's nothing wrong with surging....and it's probably just as impossible doing that. Imagine running in to a crowded enemy room. Sure, you're fast, but you're not invincible. Only way it is possible, is if you're a really REALLY good sniper.

*update: Thanks for the nod, LNS. By the way, the most current Comtech certification description can be found here. Last edited by Hayoo; 2004-02-05 at 10:13 PM. |
