My all time Favorites, in the following order:
Weird Al is my hero. Janis Joplin... the woman, rocked. Most classic rock, oldies.. I can deal with a good portion. John Williams, his soundtracks are pure genius. ICP when I am in the mood to laugh at tacky music. Cannot stand Gansta Rap. Period. ICP gets the nod because they crack me up.

Kurt Cobain Lead Zeplin Carlos Santana /\ those are on topic however you mentioned genres and bands i believe which are not musicians so i shall deviate also  Bands: Linkin Park Perfect Circle Happy To Be Hardcore Nirvana Rasmus Senior Junior Der O K: Avril L. Jay-Z/Beyonce Limp Bizkit  i can't think of manywhy must we judge of artists and not of songs? when i hear a song i either like it or i don't if it's by a good artist cool i'm all for it but if it's not it's still good "my pianist{peanis} is better then yours :P"  where do you live mrV seems im up around you do you live in england?

vocalists are musicians.
My list: Beethovan, Mozart, etc. Tom petty the original singer from Queen. the guy who did the song from toy story(he has good political songs) Kat stevens(if i spelled that right) lots of others from lots of different genres. |

Erm, Aital, they are not vocalists either, they have all that computer voice mask/changing shit, jay z doesn't even sing, he just talks really fast.

Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins are my all time favorite band) Beck (cause I always end up laughing at his non-sensical lyrics) There is alot more, but I don't wanna list 'em. Also, if you haven't heard the Smashing Pumpkins, you ought to start now, they rock. That is all.
