Im sick of all you guys fucking dissing everyone elses empires. I mean come on its just a game. K let me use this as an example. The NC jackhammer is most definitly the best HA weapon. But the TR have the best maxes(just my opinion). And the VS have the lancer which is in my opinion is the best AV weapon. So yeah we all have our weaknesses and strong points. For us its the jackhammer. So yeah weaks and strongs we all have something to complain about against the other empire. Even i do it occasionally but you dont have to let everyone else know. Just letting you people know its getting irritating and i think im speaking for a lot of other people.

Edit: each AV and Max is better in some situations then others. Such as I think TR AV is good at air, phoenix can fire guided missles that do the most damage (besides decimator), and lancer fires the most and is the best AV against infantry IMO.

lol just from my experieces ive played all three empires. Maybe I am just good with them. W/e its a matter of taste i guess. Ive always liked the Burster and the Dual cycler. I hate ALL of the NC maxes. I just have one cause I like being in a max.

IMO, the striker is the best AV weapon. As a lightning driver, I fucking fear those things. Then again, Im NC, so I have never faced a pheonix in combat.

TR are best MAX. Someone didnt bother to get any VS skills. IMO phnx is best AV.

I don't really think that the PSU forums has a lot of people flaming each other over empires. We can get into discussions about which empire has better weaponry, but it usually doesn't dissolve into "VS sucks because they do" or "NERF NC" and other such mindless posts like you see on the OF. We're not shy of saying that X weapon is overpowered, but we usually give constructive support to our statements as well. And I personally think that such discussions are good. If no one wanted to have them, then you wouldn't see threads about them.

I hear ya man, but the problem is that most don't agree with your analysis... For Example:

Here are my opinions about empire strenghts... sure this is completely debatable, but having achieved BR20 in 2 empires and BR18 in the 3rd I'm kinda well rounded. I base my "best of" categories in killing power and overall usefullness... what good is a very deadly weapon if you can't use it most of the time?

Ok here we go...

The NC Have the BEST:
Pistol - Just can't beat that scatter pistol... love the AMP until this thing spoils you.
MA - The Gauss Rifle simply owns...
HA - Jackhammer... nuff said
AV - Phoenix is KING of AV and it's FUN to use too
Vanguard - (I'm considering the Magrider the best assault buggy)


The VS Have the BEST:
MAX Units - they turn faster and can fly and play nice with friendly infantry (5 star rating)
Assault Buggy - if you drive the Magrider like an assault buggy and not a tank it owns, if you drive it like a tank you will die quickly

The TR Have the BEST:
Actual Assault Buggy - The Marauder owns - It's no Deliverer or Skyguard, but it's good more so than the thresher or enforcer.

Final Analysis/Conclusion:

The NC have it the best pretty much across the board except with their MAX units and Assault Buggy...

The VS have it pretty much middle of the road with their MAX units and now the new Lasher to help them. Also if they field enough magriders they can be formidable too.

The TR have it the hardest as pretty much all of their equipment is of meduim to low power on the 3 possibility comparison scale of high/meduim/low between the 3 empires.

Thott's stats tend to back this showing the TR and VS are about even on total overall kills while the NC are clearly ahead of the curve... even usually with their higher population advantage they get more kills per player than the other two empires.

That the game is not balanced is not really debatable because of the stats/facts. The only real debate would be as to the cause(s) of the balance problem. I say it's the weapons.

I think you're over reacting, LimpBIT. There's very little real Empire hostility here. Any that you see is either half-hearted, a joke, or an isolated incident. Certainly nothing to swear about.

Give it up people.

Every weapon has its strengths and weaknesses.
Jsut becsue a weapon does the most damage per shot doesn't mean its the best, both the striker and lancer do more Damage in 10 seconds tahn a phoenix does, it goes over walls but it pays in that its useless indoors, when they can easily shoot back, and that you can't do anything while your flying the missle.
