Will there be an open beta?

The answer is an autoritative maybe. They had signups for beta open for a week and got between 13000-16000 respondents for 1000-3000 closed beta spots, according to the info released a long time ago (and subsequently hazed by memory). There will be an "Open Beta" but we don't know if it will be truly open to the public or simply opened to everyone who originally signed up. Or they may just hold another signup and pick a new batch of people.

No offence, and this isn't a flame, but in the future PLEASE title your threads more informatively. It is kinda annoying seeing lots of threads with titles like 'Will??', 'Please!!', 'Question', etc, which provide no clue as to their contents.

Umm, the whole point of my post was that with such obscure thread titles it is impossible to know if the thread will interest you or not. No need to get narky it was only a simple request.
