Ocean Expansion
Base(s)- 1) Other Basement will be below the base. There will be spawn room, No Equipment Terms. First Floor has equipment terms. Second Floor has CC. Bottom floor is spawn room and generator's below the base. Teleports a player who enters a teleport circle to go to basement. The top of the base has glass dome. There will be an air vechile (Excellent for DogFighting only or going to another continet). It cannot be hurt and no sense to attack it. Cannot Enter to the world of auraxis. No Name or Damage or ROF known. Turrets will be below the bases. It can be manned or camera view by basement. The pole sticking out from the bottom is also a turret. It will be a maze inside like core combat to get into CC on the top floor. There will be no spawn room. I know it looks like the dome, but there is no way to enter the top floor. To enter the top floor, you have to start from the bottom floor where you enter from the door. There's a mini-telepad warp by the seashore that will take you inside the base. The outer circle which is at the rings. There is 4 outer circle that connects to rings and to the middle of base. 2 Circle connects to 1 continet, from north side and south side. And the other 2 connects to the other continet. Same as Core Combat warpgate. When you warp into seashore teleport, it takes you to first linked base, you are going to hack the base. After you finished hacking the base, the telepad ring (same as core combat that takes you up and down level) appears, 2 link will divide to 2 base. 2 telepad will appear, 1 will go to different base. If you die, you leave the arena because there is no spawn room. But there will be equipment term laying around in the hall way (the rings). The cc will be in the middle and on the top of glass dome. As for space, it's just same as core combat complex maze. But there will be no zipline. You have to get the space max or agile certs to use the throttle to move around base. The throttle will have capacitor just like VS Max Jump. Around normal agile and max suit. You will have to take new space hart as shown. It cannot be destroyed and its 1/4 smaller than regular hart and only can be used in space and cannot orbital drop into auraxis.Since its smaller than hart, there will be 3 space hart that goes to each bases. It moves back and forth about 60 kph. As now, for Ocean Expansion Ships Ocean Submersible Fighter- It can hover over water, but it cannot hover over land due it's nonflat bottom. It can go over 80-90 kph. The fighter ship cannot fight if it's above water but it can fight underground. It shoots an air ball that causes damage. Armor: 600 Speed: 85 kph Weapon: Airball Cannon (Inside water only) Damage: Unknown http://planetsideimages.com/uploads/X_devilfish.gif ---------------------------------- Wraith cloaked plane- Similar to wraith. But it can carries 2 soldiers. One of them has to be actually an infilitrator to make the plane cloaked. Example. 1 Inf + 1 Agile = 1/4 transparencies. 2 Inf= 1/10 Transperencies. Armor: 1/2 more armor than reaver Speed: 90 kph (Can use after burner, top speed - 250 kph) Weapon: Listed.... Damage: Unkown http://planetsideimages.com/uploads/X_wraith.gif ---------------------------------- Shadowskimmer (Air Vechile Transport)- It will 1 pilot and 1 gunner at the front. The gunner has limited view of attack with 50 mm (Front). It can transport 1 vechile at a time. Only Heavy and Medium Tanks such as (Magrider, Vanguard, Prowler, Thresher, AMS, Flail, Marauder, and enforcer. Lightning may be included.) To pick them up, you will have to be in the pilot section, and hover in air. Then you will have to look at the vechile that has driver. Has to be 5 m close. The Shadowskimmer pilot will press G to give the driver notification if the driver wants to pick up. Accept or Decline button. Then the Shadowskimmer plane will automatically pick up the tanks. The tanks can shoot, but only from behind because of the front gunner has 50 mm damage gun. I would say this is balanced. I would get rid of the Space MAX. Rename it "EVA" for Extra-Vehicular Armor or something new like Enhanced Vaccuum Armor. Make its weapons system modular, so that you can add medium-assault, heavy-assault, special-assault weapons to it. In other words, you'd been a MAX cert and one of the Assault Weapons certs, that you could combine. Said weapons would be all new, and only available in space (unlike the core combat expansion, which sucked and had to be heavily modified so people felt like they got their money's worth by allowing for more flexibility). Said weapons should ALSO be of an energy weapon sort, since that's about the only place they are truly effective and make everything else impractical. EVA ARMOR SPACE WEAPONS: Vanu: some sort of energy orb pulse weapon TR: rotary auto-lasers, low-power but rapid-fire (like a laser DC, in laymans terms) NC: a torpedo-like energy blast, kinda like a photon torpedo OCEAN: As for the ocean stuff, you need surface vessels and subsurface vessels. Your bases should be accessible by subsurface (meaning an airlock somewhere) and surface (meaning an access station with a narrow tube coming down, like the towers). You also need provisions for people who want to sneak in by themselves and not need a fancy vehicle. Like a SCUBA suit or rebreather/gills implant. There are real-life small-arms weapons that fire underwater, they fire metal darts (also known as flechette rounds). I'd skip the empire specific weapons for now, and go with a common pool underwater assault rifle. That can be added later. I would also make use of the supercavitating technology. It does exist, it's not a sci-fi dream. Such a supercavitating weapon would be limited to underwater rockets, torpedoes, or other projectile weapons. The way they work is essentially sheathing a weapon body in air so the effects of aquatic drag are negated, allowing them to fly at normal missile speeds. This is the so-called "warp bubble torpedo" that people claim does not exist. I'm here to tell you that it DOES exist. The rumored reason that the Russian submarine Kursk sank was because it had a faulty supercavitating torpedo that exploded. I can go into detail if you want, for design purposes. |
