I think it kinda stinks that aircraft are the only ones that can benefit from towers. Since watch towers have no built in defenses of their own, what do you think about a repair silo on the side of it for ground vehicles?
This would add a slight tactical element to the game, making the capture of errant towers more important. |

They really need to buff all the towers. The air tower is good as it is, but could use flak turrets, more fitting to the theme. Watch towers need repair silos, and maybe a limited Interlink radar effect, prehaps equipment and/or medical terminals near the roof doors, working on the concept that it's meant to be defended by people, not turrets. Gun towers need 75mm turrets, and railing mounted machineguns (Pre-roof harasser guns, anybody?) on the roof.

I once posted on the OF what I would do to the towers...
What they do now: Air Towers: two Phalanx and two airpads that repair Gun Towers: two Phalanx Watch Towers: Interlink like benefit in the miniscule SOI Only changes I think they need: Air Towers: Be made as tall as Watch Towers, and give it two more Phalanx on the other two corners Gun Towers: Be made as tall as Watch Towers, give it 75mm guns on the lower balcony on all corners, and four Phalanx on the top balcony corners Watch Towers: Bigger SOI, tunnel to base (door can only be hacked from inside base), and gun portals to shoot out of (very small) Each would have its advantages and none will be useless... |

Good and bad.
1. Good reason- Its hard for people to defend towers so having that on their would be good for repairing vangaurds then redeploying at optimum speed 2.-Bad reason-Think about when you are attacking a tower. Mags or prowlers everywhere. NEVER ENDING MADNESS. Just my opinion. Guess it would be worth a try on the test server. |

I can't really decipher if this would be good or bad. I know it would make defending towers much easier, which I can't really determine how that would play out. If you have repair silos, then it will be verrrrry hard for you to get past the vehicles of that tower. AV would be useless there, so you would need a vehicle army of your own just to get the chance at attacking.
