dunno.. doesn't bother me either way. Blood is good to be able to identify whether or not your actually hitting a target, the advanced targeting implant will be a must for me though just because i'm so used to the tribes layout. For me, being able to see enemy health is pretty crucial. In other games like 1942, I had to get the blood patch though so i could tell if i was even hitting my target. So without the targeting implant, i would hope that there would be blood or some other indicator to let you know if your aim is good or not.

maybe they should make a blood patch for Planetside... so that it doesn't have to come with the game, so it can have it's teen rateing, but if you want blood you can just download it
