All of the netcode was done in php sockets and streams, the UI and graphics are VRML 1.0 and Javascript.

The servers are AS/400, so everything is written in RPG. I only recently found out that Planetside is a roleplaying game after all.

ic. ya im taking a c++ class and even though we're not far along i have absolutely no idea how they could do that. ive heard of game companies making their own code to suit needs.
